Forgot Valentine’s Day? Video | Sexy Agent Provocateur Advert Helps You Remember

Posted: 14 Feb 2010 07:53 AM PST

Today is Feb. 14. Valentine’s Day. What do you mean you forgot? Oh deary deary me.

To cheer you up here’s a sexy Agent Provocateur advert in all its glory. You get to see a sexy woman being all, well, sexy, and as an added bonus get a reminder of why you shouldn’t forget Valentine’s Day ever again.

To be frank, this video actually tempts me to forget Valentine’s Day next year. At least until she punches the guy in the face. Everything leading to that moment is sexy and desirable, and something most men crave happening to them.

But is the sexy, teasing part worth the punch in the face? Possibly. And if the cleaning lady is younger and better looking than this one then there may be some fun to be had post-punch anyway. Oh yeah.

Happy Valentine’s Day, assuming you remembered.

Fooly Cooly Video Trailer | Japanese Animated Series Originally Titled Furi Kuri

You either love Japanese animation or you hate it; there’s very little middle ground. I happen to love it, although I don’t always fully understand the story lines at play, as they usually involve weird sci-fi and fantasy elements.

This video is for a series called Fooly Cooly, although it’s also known as FLCL and Furi Kuri. See, the confusion has begun already.

Fooly Cooly is a six-part animated series written by Yoji Enokido and directed by Kazuya Tsurumaki. It isn’t a new show, but it’s gaining attention as it’s about to be re-released on DVD and Blu-ray.

The main story focuses on a 12-year-old Japanese boy named Naota Nandaba. But as you can see from the trailer, his life is far from ordinary.

Fooly Cooly has split opinion over its mix of different styles and the metaphorical meanings liberally sprinkled in to the plot. All I know is it looks amazing.

‘We Are The World’ 2010 Haiti Official Video | As Good As The Original?

This is the 25th Anniversary recording of the new 2010 ‘We Are The World’ for Haiti, featuring over 80 artists and performers. I’m my humble opinion I don’t think it’s as good as the original- possibly because it clocks over 8 minutes in length.

It’s still good for a watch though just to see all the appearances.

Honestly, I just can’t see this song getting as much airplay as the 1985 version. Does Justin Bieber really deserve the first solo? And as for the “rap” around the 6 minute mark, it just sounds incredibly cheesy.

Still it’s important to remember that this song was made primarily to aid Haiti and to celebrate the legacy of Michael Jackson. That alone should be enough to pay for the single and/or donate.

Funny Stop-Motion T-Shirt War Video | Clever Animation and Real Life Blend

Posted: 13 Feb 2010 01:51 PM PST

This video is one of the cleverest uses of stop-motion animation that I’ve ever seen. It blends the animation style with real-life action to create an all-out T-shirt war!

It took 225 shirts and two days to film this unique and creative video. Filmmakers Rhett and Link use their colored shirts as weapons in a battle that becomes increasingly more out of control.

While some stop-motion clips have me marveling at the artistry without really connecting, this does both. It’s genuinely funny as well as being like nothing I’ve ever seen before.

I don’t even want to think about how much work went into this. It’s much easier to just enjoy it.
