In just a few short months, we’re taking off on the road trip of a lifetime—Route to Vine! From February 14-17, 2023, we are embarking on a four-day high-octane, high-style driving experience through northern California’s wine country curated and led by Road & Track editors.
We’ll be kicking off the rally at The Presidio in San Francisco with a stay at the Lodge at The Presidio and a registration breakfast at Presidio Log Cabin the following morning. From there, we’re rallying over the Golden Gate Bridge and shifting into gear for a day of thrills at Sonoma Raceway, including opportunities to take your car for a spin on the hilly 12-corner track, ride shotgun with editors and special automotive guests, and compete in an autocross relay challenge. Then, we’re unwinding with a decadent group dinner at Ottimo at Bottega and an overnight stay at Hotel Yountville.
The following day, we’re starting the adventure bright and early with a sunrise hot air balloon tour featuring breathtaking views of Napa Valley’s wine country. From there, we’re cruising through the Napa and Sonoma Valleys and checking into Montage Healdsburg to hang up our keys as we explore local wineries, then wind down with a five-course dinner.
Finally, we’re rounding out the rally with a group drive through the redwoods, lunch at the famous Alice’s Restaurant and a private tour of Canepa Motorsports Museum led by racing legend Bruce Canepa himself.
