Cute Little Dog Rides Tortoise Video | Why Walk When You Can Get Lift From A Friend? Posted: 12 May 2010 11:14 AM PDT I love seeing different species of animals getting on like old friends. And while a dog and tortoise aren’t the most obvious pairing, it makes for a cute video as the tortoise gives the dog a ride around the driveway.
It’s amazing how different species of animals can often put their differences aside when they need to. Dogs and cats can even form bonds if they’re brought up together from being young. This video is the first time I’ve seen such a friendship exist between a dog and a tortoise. Although, watching the video I’m not sure it’s a two-way friendship. In fact, the dog could just be taking advantage of the tortoise. Either way, it’s fun to see the dog act like a king while the tortoise escorts him around. I bet the dog was wishing he’d picked a faster ride though, as tortoises aren’t exactly known for their speed. |
Inception Movie Trailer Video | Leonardo DiCaprio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page Posted: 12 May 2010 07:57 AM PDT This is the new trailer for the new movie from Christopher Nolan, the director who reinvigorated the Batman franchise with Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. It’s called Inception, and its looks absolutely awesome.
Inception stars Leonardo DiCaprio (Titanic, Catch Me If You Can), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (500 Days Of Summer, G.I. Joe), Ellen Page (Juno, Whip It), Ken Watanabe, and Marion Cotillard. The story revolves around DiCaprio’s character, a thief who has the power to enter dreams in order to steal valuable secrets. But he wants out, and plans one last job to enable him to change his life. The trailer is absolutely awesome, and I just hope the final movie lives up to it. Inception is due to be released in all territories on July 16. |
Posted: 12 May 2010 12:05 AM PDT It takes serious kahunas to pose as an expert on American television with no skills whatsoever. But that’s just what Kenny “K-Strass” Strasser did recently. K-Strass has earned his 15 minutes of fame, and showed the network the value of research and fact checking in the process. He's no yo-yo king, but he is an impressive conman! |
Watch Funny Charlie Brooker Review The iPad Video | Just a Bigger iPhone Posted: 11 May 2010 06:15 PM PDT Haha. I love this. Nothing like insulting Steve Jobs, his most recent release, his past releases and Apple in general. I am not a technology addict, guru or even all that interested in the stuff at all – least of all the iPad, which would cost me more than a eee PC (which I would like) or some laptops. Apple would be a pretty awesome company if they weren't so absolutely stuffy and hoity toity about their stuff. I like using Macs, but it's just too expensive to get one. But, that's just me. Someone who likes the affordability, usability and ability to fix my PC at home functions of the computer I have. |
Smart Seagull Steals Lazy Cat’s Dinner Video | Puss No Match for Brainy Bird Posted: 11 May 2010 05:37 PM PDT Legend would have us believe that cats love to chase birds and mice, but the kitty in this video just can’t be bothered. Sensing that the cat wasn’t going to interrupt his dinner, the seagull decides to take the whole bowl and enjoy his meal al fresco! I couldn't believe the seagull could carry the whole bowl in his beak, or that the cat still wasn’t roused to move! This is one puss that takes laziness to a whole new level! |
Motorbike Roundabout Video | Turning Kids Plaything Into Death Trap, Albeit A Fun One Posted: 11 May 2010 01:03 PM PDT I’m a boring git at heart, living a fairly pedestrian life not putting myself in harm’s way unless I really have to. Am I missing out? Possibly, but if this is the alternative then I think I’ll stick.
Whether they admit it or not, all adults like a go on toys designed for kids every now and again. But some aren’t satisfied with using the playthings as they were designed to be used, adding their own elements to it. Which is what these brave (and stupid) youngsters decide to do. Rather than relying on one man pushing the others on this roundabout, they add a mechanical element in the form of a motorbike wheel. The roundabout goes much faster than usual and, unsurprisingly, one of the two volunteers flies out at speed, eventually landing a few feet away. It looks as though he’s OK, but he could easily have broken his neck. Still, that would have done wonders for the gene pool. |
