Teacup Pigs Video | Mini Domesticated Swine

There’s a rather worrying trend emerging. Clearly bored of cats, dogs, and goldfish (understandable in respect to the latter), people are increasingly keeping different animals as pets.

Pigs are an increasingly common choice, mainly thanks to the new breed of miniature pigs known ‘Teacup Pigs’.

This video shows one of these tiny pigs chillaxing at home. As you can see, it’s almost completely domesticated, playing with its cuddly toys, investigating its surroundings, and running around the house wagging its tail.

Am I the only one to find this strange? I can categorically state I will never own a pig as a pet, no matter how cute they may be. I’ll stick to my cat, which is independent, clean, and good at chasing off mice and rats.

As of this morning, the list of the nominees for the 2010 Emmy Awards were announced. The most popular categories were announced by Sofia Vergara and Joel McHale and can bee seen above.

Of all the TV shows mentioned, Glee looks to be the most nominated- 19 different categories? Really?

Personally, I’m not a fan of Glee so I could care less when they take over the Emmy’s this year (which is what is already speculated). On the contrary, I’m more concerned about The Tonight Show With Conan winning more than anything else. Since Conan has been off the air, late night TV has been a drag.

Funny Barack Obama Has A BBQ (Video) | Metaphor For His Presidency Spoof

If Barack Obama were to host a BBQ, how well would it go down?

As this video shows, probably a lot like his presidency…

In this political spoof Obama is a host of a BBQ (aka the President) and the food he cooks is a metaphor for how he handles some current issues. Who knew potato salad, ants in a punch bowl, and shish kabobs were closely related to health care, immigration, and bail out money?

The best part of the spoof has to be the end where they are interrupted by a warning about an “oil spill-” no doubt a reference to the Gulf Spill caused by BP. Damn you environment! Just when the potato salad was tasting good!

Skip to 0.57 for the news on the Connecticut priest who is being charged for embezzling over one million dollars to fund male escorts as well as apartment rent and tuition costs for a lover.

While it certainly wasn’t right for him to steal money from people to fund his personal… things… I really feel sorry for this guy.

If it is true that he is gay, I hate to see someone feel like they need to operate in secrecy because of their religion.

I also hate to see it because I know what his church would do to him if it was true and they found out.

Sad times.

Another blow to the US economy and employment comes in the form of Wells Fargo Financial closing the doors on hundreds of offices – and thousands of jobs.

“We know that this decision will be extremely difficult for those dedicated team members and their families who will be affected.” – Wells Fargo Financial president David Kvamme

Hm. And yet somehow I don’t think you will be very affected by it, will you Mr. Kvamme.

Call me suspicious of ‘the man’, but this is just another action in a long list of actions that could have probably been avoided with some sensible thought put into business.

Wedding Photographer Fail Video | Marriage Snapper Ends Up Soaked

The work of a wedding photographer seems pretty cruisy from the outside. You snap a few photos of a happy couple on their big day, and enjoy some great food and happy vibes at the same time. But as this video shows, the job can have some unexpected hazards.

It all seems to be going swimmingly as the photographer snaps the couple walking down the church aisle. But walking backwards is never easy, particularly when there are unexpected obstacles in your way!

I just hope that his camera was waterproof! It’d be a shame to lose those all-important ceremony shots!

RickRolling The Pet Cat Video | Even Cats Hate Rick Astley’s ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’

The RickRolling phenomenon is pretty much over, with very few instances of it popping up over the Web these days. Basically, once Google had used it for April Fool’s Day, it was dead.

However, while every human in the world may now have been RickRolled at least once, that still leaves every animal just crying out to be pranked in this way.

As this video shows, Rick Astley’s Never Gonna Give You Up appears to have the same effect on cats as it does on humans. Or maybe it’s just this particular cat, who is visibly getting annoyed by the infernal racket.

Brilliantly, after a couple of tepid pawing motions at the source of the noise, the cat manages to close the lid, stopping the song from playing in an instant. Cats don’t need to be vicious, as they have brains instead.

Funny Ringo Starr Spoof Music Video | Former Beatles Drummer Is A Sprightly 70-Years-Old

Ringo Starr is 70-years-old today (July 7). And to commemorate this milestone, this video shows some guy who thinks he’s funnier than he actually is taking the piss out of Ringo. Happy Birthday!

Ringo is obviously best known as the drummer for legendary pop group The Beatles. After replacing Pete Best in the hot seat, Ringo’s simple drumming style went on to be an important part of The Beatles’ sound.

Now, Ringo is one of the two remaining Beatles, alongside Paul McCartney. John Lennon and George Harrison both having passed away over the years.

After The Beatles split, Ringo went on to do some solo stuff, form supergroups with other musicians, and (most importantly) became the voice for Thomas The Tank Engine.

In recent years, he’s since become famous for being grumpy and refusing to sign autographs for fans. So, he’s essentially become a grumpy old man.
