Dating from the fifties and sixties, the racks have been sourced from original French trains. They have a great depth which will ensure you can really make use of all storage space in high-ceilinged rooms. They look great in kitcens storing pots and pans as shown here, but would work just as well for hats and coats in the hallway. But the best ones always command the higher prices - like this vintage Dansette Musique record player with legs. It looks like a slightly later model, but still very much of the 1960s. It's said to contain a working three-band radio, as well as a BSR record deck, along with controls for bass, treble, volume and power.The player is said to have a 'rich' sound, while the legs are described as being in 'superb' condition, with just one small blemish. There is some slight wear on the vinyl too - see the images for that. |

Ledbury's Letterpress Printer, Tilleys have produced a collection of 12 limited edition posters using solid letters and illustrations dating from the end of the 19th century onwards. The posters were designed by Martin Clark and feature a poem by Nick Alexander. The posters are each limited to 25 editions and sell for £25 – for an extra £4 you will get a poster hanger. It is made from reclaimed teak, which with its rich colour giving some warmth to the design. Each chair will be slightly different due to the recycled materials used. It makes a great dining chair – although I'd probably want risk ruining the look slightly in the name of comfort by adding a comfy cushion to it. The chairs costs £189 from Idyll Home. |
