Fun With Guns Video | AK-47 Is The Ultimate Novelty Cigarette Lighter Posted: 08 Feb 2010 07:06 AM PST I’ve heard of some pretty crazy novelty cigarette lighters over the years but this one surely takes the crown for being the best ever. That’s right folks, what better use for a gun is there than lighting your fag?
To be fair, when I first saw this video’s title and description I thought it was going to show a guy lighting a cigarette with an AK-47 while it was in his mouth. The cigarette, not the AK-47. That would have been even more awesome than what we get, although the opportunity for a terrible accident would have also been much greater. Cigarettes and guns are both bad for your health so if you’re into them both I guess there are worse ways of shuffling off the mortal coil. |
The Who Super Bowl Halftime Show Video | Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend, Zak Starkey Posted: 08 Feb 2010 02:03 AM PST The Super Bowl is as American an event as you can get. It practically oozes stars and stripes and I’m afraid to say no one else in the world really gives a crap about it. However, the Super Bowl was invaded by the Brits yesterday, as The Who played the halftime show.
This video is, unfortunately, only half the show but look hard enough on YouTube and you’ll find the rest. This does give a good flavor of the set however, which took the form of a medley of The Who’s greatest hits. The Who now comprise Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, with Zak Starkey on drums. Starkey is Ringo Starr’s son and was taught to play the drums by both his dad and former Who sticksman Keith Moon. American football may be one of the dullest sports in the world but at least the halftime show at the Super Bowl was entertaining. |
Funny The iPad Keynote Presentation In 3 Minutes | Did We Mention It’s ‘Amazing?’ Posted: 07 Feb 2010 05:44 PM PST I’m a fan of Apple products because of their quality and durability. The iPad, on the other hand, doesn’t seem to be very innovative yet Steve Jobs and others insist that it’s “amazing” at least a hundred times in this clip. Maybe more. The words “amazing” and “great” are said countless times during this presentation by all speakers. So it’s a bigger iTouch, we get it already! |
Famous Hollywood Directors Direct The Superbowl Video | What If Tarantino or Lynch Were in Charge? Posted: 07 Feb 2010 04:22 PM PST Sports fans all around the world are glued to their televisions waiting to discover you will take home this year’s Superbowl. Will victory belong to the Indianapolis Colts or the New Orleans Saints? Honestly, I’m a rugby league loving Australian so I don't really care. But I might get interested in the game if it were directed by some of Hollywood’s finest visionaries. The real game might not interest me, but these clips have shown me Superbowl’s potential. |
Funny Ricky Gervais on Celebrity Problems & The Recession Video | No Sympathy Posted: 07 Feb 2010 03:31 PM PST You can trust Ricky Gervais to be honest and have absolutely no sympathy for ‘depressed millionaire celebrities’ when it comes to what’s happening in the real world. Finally! Here is a celebrity who admits that the recession hasn’t hit him and that there are bigger problems in the world than celebrities feeling down about this or that. Depression is a true and often heart-breaking mental illness, but somehow I doubt all these so-called ‘depressed’ celebrities have actually been medically diagnosed. So cheers to Gervais for manning up and basically telling celebrities (including himself) to get over it because there are people much worse off out there. |
Watch Kleen energy Connecticut Power Plant Explosion New Video | Mass Casualties Predicted Posted: 07 Feb 2010 02:56 PM PST The search continues for bodies at the Kleen Energy power plant in Connecticut after a massive explosion – cause unknown – hit the plant. As many people around the United States are gathering to watch the Super Bowl, Connecticut families are praying that their family members have survived the blast. Two are reported dead in this video, but other news sources are already confirming five dead. Hopefully within the next week, there will be news as to what could have caused the blast so safety measures can be added to similar plants around the country. I hope there are more survivors than dead. |
