Highest ODI Cricket Score Video | Tendulkar Beats Charles Coventry’s 194 Not Out Posted: 24 Feb 2010 07:32 AM PST This video shows Charles Coventry’s record-breaking one day international cricket innings of 194 not out. Coventry is a Zimbabwean cricketer and scored his record innings against Bangladesh in 2009. However, Coventry’s record has now been beaten by Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. He has surpassed 200 not out in the game against South Africa.
Coventry’s innings was full of lucky escapes, but then that is the nature of one day internationals. With only a limited number of overs to score from, batsmen have to take risks, and it’s up to the fielding side to take advantage of those. Tendulkar may have now beaten Coventry’s record, which he shared with Saeed Anwar, but that doesn’t make this innings any less thrilling to watch unfold, partly because of the number of missed chances for getting him out. |
Terrible Whitney Houston Concert in Brisbane, Australia Angers Fans Video | Has the Diva Lost It? Posted: 23 Feb 2010 03:58 PM PST Have you got tickets for Whitney Houston’s upcoming world tour? I am sorry. If her first show in Brisbane is any indication, you’re not in for a good night. I also hear that she appeared disorientated and left the stage many times mid-song. She also didn't even try for those high notes, which in some ways may have been a blessing. Something tells me these furious fans would have rather Whitney not come. Perhaps then they could remember her in her former glory, rather than the train wreck she has become. |
School Sued for Spying on Students at Home (News Video) | Remote Activated Webcams on Laptops Posted: 23 Feb 2010 03:53 PM PST A Pennsylvania school has been sued over the issue of using remotely activated webcams on school-issued laptops to spy on students while the students are at home. Wow. It is hard to know where to start with this one. I am in shock that these webcams are able to be activated remotely, not to mention the fact that they actually were. This is so disgusting. I hate to assume the worst of people, but the young girl who talked about changing while her laptop was open? I think the student confronted with ‘photographic evidence’ thought to have come from the webcam says it all about how these cameras are really being used. |
Watch Former NBA Star Jayson William’s Sentence for Murder Video Posted: 23 Feb 2010 03:01 PM PST Former New Jersey Net Jayson Williams stood today to receive his sentence for fatally shooting a limousine drive back in 2002. First off, it boggles my mind that it could take an entire eight years for something as serious as a fatal shooting to get fully sorted out in court. He originally went to court in 2004, but not all of the charges were agreed upon by the jury. Secondly, this guy has killed a man and only has to serve 18 months without parole? Get an average guy off the street charged for the same things and see what the sentence is then. |
