May The Fourth Be With You Video | Celebrating Star Wars Day By Using The Force

Posted: 04 May 2010 07:12 AM PDT

Today is Star Wars Day, Why? Because it’s May 4th of course, and thanks to a nice bit of wordplay, the Force inherent throughout the Star Wars universe becomes the fourth.

Still confused? May the Fourth be with you! There, better?

This video shows what every Star Wars fan dreams of: waking up one morning and feeling the force all around, and being able to manipulate it like a true Jedi master.

Sure, this guy only uses it to pick up an action figure, a lightsaber, and his jeans without having to physically get up and walk a few feet across the room.

But still, never run before you can walk. At least this guy will be ready and willing when the Empire attacks.

Watch Oprah Winfrey Announce Cancelling Her Show Video | End of an Era

With tear-filled eyes, Oprah Winfrey announces the end of an era; on September 9th, 2011, the Oprah Winfrey show will end.

It is strange to think that Oprah first went on air less than a month after I was born. Talk about growing up with Oprah.

Of course, you know it won’t truly be the end of Oprah because networks will want to put on reruns of her shows for years to come.

Still, it will be a little weird to know that Oprah will no longer be trotting around interviewing people and making dreams come true for unsuspecting, humble people.

Watch Mother’s Day Gift Ideas with Susan Doherty Video

Watch some gift suggestions for your mother this Mother’s Day that are ‘outside the box’.

Personally, I think the high tea and the spa of the month thing are the best presents.

With high tea, you can take the time to make all the food and tea yourself, which will make the experience hundreds of times more enjoyable than if you just bought everything.

And I have never met a woman who didn’t like some sort of spa treatment, be it a facial or simply a nice warm bath – uninterrupted – at home.

Or, just give her a day uninterrupted with you. That would be nice.

Seinfeld Movie Trailer Video | George’s Life Story Turned Into A 2-Hour Feature Film

Posted: 03 May 2010 02:43 PM PDT

Seinfeld remains one of my favorite TV shows, and still stands up as the greatest TV comedy of all time. You can keep Cheers, Mash, and even The Office, as it’s Seinfeld which I can still watch years after the episodes first aired.

But what if there was a Seinfeld film? And not a comedy film either, with the character of George having his life studied in a dramatic way, specifically when his fiancée Susan died.

This video shows the trailer of how such a movie would look, and it’s been cleverly cut together so that all the laughs have been taken out. And what a difference that makes, turning the character of George into a bit of a sad figure.

I’d love to see a Seinfeld movie happen, but I don’t think it ever will. And even if it ever did, it wouldn’t be a tear-jerking drama as this trailer suggests.
