Of all the plans to stop the oil spill in the Gulf Coast right now, the “top kill” is said to be the best. This video explains just how the procedure would work and even a few back-up plans.

Obama plans to re-visit the region Friday to comment on the progress.

The “progress” so far by BP, of course, hasn’t been very successful and numerous senators are expressing their disdain for Obama’s lack of leadership in the plan. If the “top kill” doesn’t work today, many are suggesting that the US Military should be sent in immediately.

Will Young American Idol 2010 | Original Pop Idol Winner Performs ‘Leave Right Now’

Will Young has pretty much been a fixture in the British music charts since he won the first ever Pop Idol way back in 2002. But America really hasn’t taken to him and his music.

However, that could all be about to change as put in a great performance of Leave Right Now on American Idol. Most people were pleasantly surprised how good he was, and his new album will no doubt shoot up the Billboard charts.

Leave Right Now is a good song, but is important in the American Idol catalog as it has been used as the song playing over the video montage when a singer is eliminated each week.

I wish Will Young success in the U.S., as he’s a strong, versatile singer who could make it over there. I just hope he doesn’t do a Joss Stone, forget about where he’s from, and annoy every right-thinking Brit by adopting an American accent.

Amazing Opera Singer Aimee Elizabeth on “Australia’s Got Talent” Video | Like Susan Boyle, But Sexy

Sexy young opera singer Aimee Elizabeth wowed the crowds and judges on Australia's Got Talent tonight.

Opera is one of those stuffy musical genres that’s difficult to sell to the masses, but with the addition of a few electric guitars and a healthy dose of blessed genes Aimee does it.

It’s somewhat like the way Susan Boyle got us all on side with her operatic musical theater warblings, except with a great deal more eye candy.

Only time will tell whether Aimee can shift the units Susan can, but if the old adage that sex sells is true I predict a big future for this talented young lass.

Local News Anchor Fail Video | Is There Ever A Good Time To Say “Enjoying Penis”?

It’s happened to us all. You find your mouth saying something you’re pretty sure your brain had nothing to do with. It’s called foot-in-mouth disease, and this local news anchor for ABC26 has a bad case.

After reporting on something called the G-Spot Shot, which helps boost a woman’s sex drive, the lady reporter throws back to the anchors by telling them that the woman interviewed isn’t going to miss her next appointment for the shot.

Cue Mr. Foot-In-Mouth Esq., who thinks the correct response to this is, “So she’s enjoying penis a little bit more, is she?” What? He didn’t just say that, did he?

Both the reporter and the female anchor are gobsmacked, but try to remain professional in the face of such an almighty cock-up. Pardon the pun.

The thing is, he’s actually right in what he said. He just chose not to dress it up so it would be appropriate for the people watching.
