Eminem ‘Recovery’ Review | First Look At Slim Shady’s New Album – Back To Serious

Posted: 08 Jun 2010 09:31 AM PDT

Eminem’s new album, Recovery, is officially released on June 22, but, as with every rap album these days, it’s leaked to the Internet early.

While that’s obviously disappointing for Marshall Mathers, it does at least mean we get to hear some reviews of the album well in advance of it coming out.

So, is Slim Shady back to his best?

Although a lot of people enjoyed Eminem’s last album, Relapse, many thought it was just a little too jokey and light-hearted. With the combative, serious style of his first two albums lost.

Thankfully, Eminem seems to have listened to the criticism and returned to his former self. Which means that while Recovery still has the clever and witty lyrics, they’re wrapped up in songs which are much stronger and direct.

This is a nice little review of the album, but I had to draw attention to the sad piece of self-marketing at the beginning. No, we don’t want your album or your “No You Aint” t-shirts.” But thanks for the offer.

Chinese Now Bootlegging Jet Fighter Planes (Video) | Obvious Copyright Violation

It’s bad enough that there are so many bootleg clothes on the market, but what about jet fighter planes?

Here we can see that China has already made a knock-off Russian SU-27 which might be a sign of things to come.

One of my military buddies once told me that you could get an AK-47 knock-off for in China for 1/10th the price. Copyright really doesn’t doesn’t apply when the government doesn’t enforce it, and as far as respecting the copyright of other countries goes, China is blissfully ignorant.

I never really thought about it until now, but it seems like China will be a new hub for weapons manufacturing this century.
As this video suggests, Russia’s time is ticking.

Fat Kid Sets Himself On Fire Video | Another Idiot Tries To Help Clean Up The Gene Pool

Posted: 07 Jun 2010 01:27 PM PDT

Getting burned to death as flames wind their way around your body is not a nice way to die. So why would anyone voluntarily put themselves through such an ordeal?

Answer: Because they’re frickin’ idiotic.

This guy actually sets himself on fire purposely, for whatever reason. Maybe he has a death wish, although if so then why the girly screaming as soon as the flames started to burn a little. Or maybe he needs to do shit like this to make friends.

Whatever the reason, he sets fire to himself and then wonders why it’s hurting.

I don’t wish harm on anyone, but it must be said that the people who do this kind of thing to themselves clearly aren’t the sort of people we need or want in the human gene pool. So maybe it’s best if they shuffle themselves off the mortal coil in increasingly dumbass ways.
