Mark Hurd Resigns Video | HP CEO Accused Of Sexual Harassment, Other Company Violations

Posted: 07 Aug 2010 09:53 AM PDT

The CEO of computer company Hewlett-Packard, Mark Hurd, has resigned from his position after an investigation into sexual harassment uncovered violations of the company’s Standards of Business Conduct.

Though cleared of the sexual harassment allegations, Hurd was found to have had a relationship with the former HP contractor involved. He had then filed multiple expense claims intended to hide the relationship.

Hurd became HP CEO in 2005, taking over from Carly Fiorina. He is considered to have done a great job in turning around the business and taking it onto greater heights, so this will be seen as a major loss for the company.

HP CFO Cathie Lesjak is taking over on a temporary basis until a new permanent CEO can be found and appointed.

Watch Funny New Simon’s Cat ‘Snow Business’ Animated Video | Bird vs. Kitty

Posted: 06 Aug 2010 06:52 PM PDT

Simon’s cat always has the upper hand with Simon, but what happens when a bird gets involved while Simon’s cat is playing in the snow?

I don’t particularly miss snow by any means, but I do wish I could see how my cat would react to snow…

…and then have a bird totally wop him. Hehe.

I love all the Simon’s Cat videos. I’m sure some people are ‘over’ them, but having gotten a kitten since their start has only made me a bigger fan.

And getting a kitten has only made me sympathize even more with poor, poor Simon’s life.

Painful Beach Faceplant Video | Kid Tries To Pull Off A Front Flip And Fails Spectacularly

Posted: 06 Aug 2010 05:34 PM PDT

There’s nothing better than seeing a sniveling little kid getting what they deserve. I don’t want to see them seriously injured or anything, naturally, but a little life lesson every now and again can’t be a bad thing.

This kid is on a beach somewhere when he attempts to pull off a double front flip off a beachball half-buried in the sand. Unfortunately for him, and fortunately for us, he fails rather spectacularly.

To be fair to him, he actually goes one rotation too many, so it’s more a matter of misjudgment than a lack of acrobatic skill. Still, the result is the same: he ends up hitting the sand face-first rather painfully.

I’m sure he was alright in the end, although he does appear to have hurt his ribs a little. Still, it’ll teach him; teach him not to be such a big-headed show-off twat.

Incredible Baseball Catch Video | Japan’s Masato Akamatsu Does His Best Spiderman

Posted: 06 Aug 2010 05:31 PM PDT

When I was an unatheletic and unenthusiastic teenager, I always opted for the outfield. There I could make daisy chains, while the rest of the students did all the hard stuff. But in the world of pro-sports, the outfield isn’t just a place to slacken off; it’s where magic happens.

Because magic is the only logical explanation for this amazing catch.

Masato Akamatsu from the Hiroshima Toyo Carp’s pulls off an absolutely miraculous catch by scaling the fence, holding out his hand, and likely crossing his fingers.

Quick, someone sign this guy up to the Major Leagues. Whatever it is, he’s got it.

New Megan Fox & Eminem Music Video | ‘Love The Way You Lie’ With Rihanna

Posted: 06 Aug 2010 02:59 PM PDT

Eminem’s new album Recovery has been doing pretty damn well on the charts lately. His latest single “Love The Way You Lie” is currently number one on the charts.

You can check out the brand new video above.

I’ve been an Eminem fan since his Marshall Mathers LP came out, but I haven’t really liked any of his videos from the past couple of years. While this latest single brings up some real issues (problems with his relationship), it still feels like silly sequel.

Bringing in Megan Fox into the video is great eye candy and Rihanna is definitely a pop-diva at this point so i could easily see this video getting very popular very fast. Still, there’s always a part of me that wishes Shady would make videos like “Stan” still.

Jackass 3D Movie Trailer | Johnny Knoxville & Company Are Back For More In A Third Film

Posted: 06 Aug 2010 01:31 PM PDT

Jackass is back, and it’s bigger and better than ever. The boys are back (shame there are no girls allowed) and performing even bigger and better stunts than ever before.

What’s more, it’s all in 3D. Proper 3D too, rather than one of those films (Alice In Wonderland) that was converted after filming in order to make some extra money off the back of Avatar.

The Jackass 3D trailer shows a selection of the stunts, although they’re not shown in 3D and they’re not shown in full. Which means they’ll be even more impressive to watch at the cinema.

I particularly like the fish slapping around the face, and the return of Bam Margera’s long-suffering parents. Jackass 3D is due to be released on October 15.
