‘Bioshock Infinite’ Trailer Video | Irrational Games Unveils Skybound Prequel Bioshock 3 Posted: 13 Aug 2010 07:29 AM PDT Irrational Games has unveiled Bioshock Infinite (Bioshock 3), the second sequel in the Bioshock games series. This is the video trailer, which is creating a lot of buzz on the Web from nerds and geeks. And some normal people such as myself.
The Bioshock series began with the first game, released in 2007. It was set in a retro underwater city called Rapture, and spawned a sequel which didn’t quite live up to the promise of the original. Irrational Games didn’t actually work on Bioshock 2, instead farming development out to other companies. For the last three years, Irrational Games has been working on Bioshock 3, newly announced to be called Bioshock Infinite. The Bioshock Infinite trailer is awesome. It’s all CGI, with no gameplay footage on show, but that will come at a later date. Bioshock Infinite is due to be released on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC in 2012. |
Hilarious South African Rap Video | Die Antwoord – ‘Enter The Ninja’ Posted: 12 Aug 2010 06:57 PM PDT A friend of mine sent me this video and wondered why such a crappy song could get 6 million views and enable this “rap group” to perform at 2010 The Cochella Music Festival. If you can offer a reasonable explanation, please leave a comment. Being a musician myself, I really despise he fact that these guys are going on tour with this garbage. Someone please tell me Sacha Baron Cohen is behind this! |
Watch Funny Vampires Suck Official Movie Trailer Video | Spoof of the Year Posted: 12 Aug 2010 06:31 PM PDT Hate the Twilight phenomena and couldn’t care less about who is on team Edward or team Jacob? Then this is the movie for you. Who ever said that everyone loved all this vampire werewolf stuff? Not me. The only ‘team’ I’m on is my husband’s and I don’t intend to read any of the Twilight books anytime soon. Seriously, I am really happy for anything that gets more people reading, but I’m equally as happy for this movie to come along and take the piss out of the whole thing. After all, you can’t be all that great if you can’t laugh at yourself. |
HALKa Bangladesh Hulk Movie Trailer Video | Eastern Interpretation of Classic Comic Book Posted: 12 Aug 2010 06:09 PM PDT We've seen Eric Bana and Edward Norton paint themselves green, and soon Mark Ruffalo will step into those gargantuan shoes. But we’ve never seen The Hulk played quite as it is in the new Bangladeshi film HALKa. As I understand it when a young man is depantsed in front of the woman he loves it releases the beast within. There's been no effort made to keep the green one realistic. He's big, brash, and beautifully unbalanced. The film hits Bangladesh screens later this year. Hopefully a worldwide release is to follow. This is too awesome for us to miss! |
Watch Ella Rose Riehle Birth Lucky Numbers News Video | Born 8/9/10 at 11.12 Posted: 12 Aug 2010 05:55 PM PDT Little Ella Rose Riehle is not likely to forget her birthday or birth time for as long as she lives, having been born on 8/9/10 at 11.12pm. The little girl almost went ahead and played with numbers a little bit more, but she didn’t quite make it to six pounds seven ounces. It is always nice to hear a positive news story. Lately it’s all fear and war, but little stories like this always perk me up. Fun stuff. Of course, the date doesn’t work that way in Australia, but who is really going to spoil things by being that picky? Congratulations to the parents. |
Ambidextrous Street Painting Video | I Can’t Even Draw That Well With One Hand Posted: 12 Aug 2010 04:35 PM PDT I have to take my hat off to people with a skill, a born skill rather than a learned one. They must have just discovered that they can do something one day, and started using it to impress people. Even more applause-worthy is the fact some people use these skills to make some money on the street. Why not use everything at your disposal to get ahead in this cruel, hard world?
This guy’s talent is to be able to draw pictures using both hands simultaneously thanks to him being ambidextrous. And it’s a skill I’m a little jealous of. OK, so it isn’t invisibility or flying, the two most wished for skills in the world. But seeing as no one possesses those skills (as far as we know) anyway, being able to use both hands is about as good as it gets. |
