FFXIV Beta Gameplay Video | How To N00b Yourself During Final Fantasy 14 Beta Battle Posted: 02 Sep 2010 07:40 AM PDT The FFXIV beta is now officially open to all. But if you do manage to get into it you should try and avoid doing what this n00b does: get your team killed by what looks like a steroid-abusing sheep.
Final Fantasy XIV is looking good at this point, and the open beta should help iron out all the bugs and issues. Although it’s an open beta you still need to register and login, and that’s causing problems right now. This video shows gameplay footage from the beta, and we get to see a group of players first attacking, and then being attacked back, by a strange muscular sheep-looking creature. Final Fantasy XIV, which is an online MMORPG, is being released on PC later this month, with the PS3 version following in March 2011. |
Movie High Schools That Suck Video | Friends Reminisce About 80s Teen Films Posted: 01 Sep 2010 04:55 PM PDT We all have fond memories of 80s teen flicks like Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and The Karate Kid. But Michael Swaim and his buddies remind us that these cinematic worlds may not be as idyllic as our nostalgic brains suggest. I've never really warmed to the web offerings of Michael Swaim, but he may have won me over. Or perhaps it’s just my nostalgic film loving brain that has me feeling extra generous. |
TPB AFK Teaser Trailer Video | The Pirate Bay Movie Seeks Funding From Kickstarter Posted: 01 Sep 2010 12:02 PM PDT TPB AFK is the name of The Pirate Bay movie, which takes the film of a documentary rather than the more dramatic version of Facebook being offered by The Social Network. This is the teaser trailer.
The Pirate Bay is still clinging on to life as a destination to find content on BitTorrent sites, despite its founders all being taken to court and found guilty of enabling the sharing of copyrighted material online. TPB AFK is a new documentary movie which tells the story of the site and its founders over the last few years. It starts with the court case from last year, and is set to end with the appeal being held in the coming months. The man behind the film, Simon Klose, sought and received funding through Kickstarter, which also helped Diaspora get off the ground. |
