Sharktopus Movie Trailer Video | Roger Corman’s Shlockfest Premieres On SyFy

If you like good movies then avoid Sharktopus at all costs. I mean it. There is nothing good about this film. It’s crap, followed by more crap, with a dollop of crap sprinkled over the top just for the hell of it.

There are very few really good horror movies in the world. Most end up becoming parodies of themselves and the genre, or just plain suck. Sharktopus isn’t going against this grain in any way.

Shartopus premiered on SyFy this weekend, and if you wasted your time watching it then you clearly don’t have enough going on in your life.

This film can be described very briefly: a shark/octopus thing goes around attacking people, mostly women wearing not very much. And Eric Roberts is the crazy scientist responsible.

If that floats your boat then you clearly have very bad taste in movies.

5 Students Shot At Seton Hall University (Video) | Frat Party Turns Violent

There aren’t any arrests yet for the shooting that took place early this morning at a frat house near Seton Hall University in New Jersey. However, it’s been confirmed that one girl, Jess Ann Moore, died from being injured this afternoon.

Police are offering a $10,000 reward for any information regarding the suspect.

As a college student, it has always been a fear of mine that an act of violence were to occur on my campus. While this incident wasn’t during school hours, it was just a few blocks from the main campus.

The gun-man, who appeared to be in his mid-twenties with a full beard and a white tank-top, was denied entry into the party at first. Later, he returned with a gun and let off 6 shots.

Cool Lego in the Real World Video | “Build Anything” with Children’s Blocks

This simple video reminds us of the joys of building with Lego.

There’s nothing too elaborate here, but I was charmed by the clip which puts tiny Lego creations into the real world. Who needs a life-sized motorcycle when you could have one made of Lego? And surely that Lego satellite will work just as well as the real thing!

OK, so anything made of Lego probably isn’t a good substitute for modern technology, but this whimsical video makes me believe in that world for just a little while. It also makes me wish I still had my own Lego sets still lying around!

Amazing Wild Leopard Video | Kills Mother Baboon, Cares For Baby Monkey

While many of us humans like to think that we’re the only animals with “a conscious” this video proves otherwise. After killing an adult baboon to eat, this wild leopard notices that a baby baboon is now left abandoned.

What happens next is sure to make your heart warm…well, at least for a minute.

The first thing that came to mind when viewing this clip was Disney. For some reason, I couldn’t help but think of movies like The Jungle Book and Tarzan where a baby is raised by wild animals. Seeing the same done for another wild animal is mind-blowing.

Of course, it isn’t a Disney movie so there has to be a realistic (and depressing) ending. As it turns out, the baby baboon eventually died of the cold.
