Gamu Nhengu X-Factor Performance Video | Improvement From Audition To Bootcamp

Some of the people who appear on The X-Factor just cannot sing. At all. And never will be able to. Others, meanwhile, have the raw talent but need to be shown how to bring it to the fore.

Step forward Gamu Nhengu.

Gamu was one of the people whose audition was seen on the first week of the show. And it was auto-tuned to try and make it sound better. Even so I still wasn’t at all impressed.

However, Gamu made it through to bootcamp and just look at what happened when she gave her final performance at this stage of the competition. She was brilliant, and even made Louis cry.

I have no doubts Gamu will make it through to the live final, wouldn’t be surprised if she ended up winning the whole thing. And she won’t need autotune to do so.

BlackBerry PlayBook Preview Video | Can RIM’s Tablet Compete With The Apple iPad?

After months of speculation and rumormongering, RIM has finally unveiled its own tablet. Called the BlackBerry PlayBook, it’s a smaller (7-inch screen) and lighter (by around 35%) alternative to the Apple iPad.

But can it possibly compete?

This video is the official preview video RIM has released in order to promote the BlackBerry PlayBook, and it sits nicely alongside the amateur videos showing the PlayBook in its display case.

Like it or not the Apple iPad is THE tablet that all other tablets have to be measured against at this stage. Because it’s the first truly usable, mainstream tablet, and it has sold phenomenally well in its first few months on sale.

Whether the BlackBerry PlayBook can compete with the Apple iPad depends on many factors. But the most important may be price. Something RIM hasn’t yet announced.

Segway Owner Dies From Segway Fall (Video) | Shocking Crash Off Cliff

When I heard that the owner of Segway had died from driving his Segway off of a cliff I couldn’t help but laugh. It had to be another internet rumor, right?

Actually, the body of millionaire Jimi Heselden was found in a river near his estate yesterday.

Crashing with a Segway seems laughable, so I can understand why many people are quick to suspect some foul play. Afterall, the man was worth $250 million and ranked as one of the top 500 richest people in the Sunday Times.

Just to clear up the rumors, a spokesman came out to address the media and commented, "At this time we do not believe the death to be suspicious.”

Haha. I love this video. CollegeHumor.com hit it right on the head.

I have always loved playing Sim games – even the really old Sim Hotel. Sim City 4 is probably my ultimate favourite.

It is rather twisted, though, that you can unleash the furies of hell (or of nature) on your city whenever you feel like it. Forget about being mayor; think of yourself as a minor god with management skills.

I wonder if SimCity will ever work in election campaigns and whether obvious threats to the citizens’ lives will be allowed.

I can’t wait to find out.

Dirty Dancing star Jennifer Grey does the Viennese waltz with Derek Hough on Dancing with the Stars.

Preparing for the waltz was a tough blast from the past for Grey now that her ultimate dance partner, Patrick Swayze, has passed away.

However, Jamie Lee Curtis has made it abundantly clear how much she supports Grey and admires her dance moves!

After watching this waltz, it’s being reported that Curtis is reconsidering taking her own spot on Dancing with the Stars.

After Aliens and Halloween, I don’t see Curtis as much of a dancer, but hey, you never know!

Harsh Yet Funny Divorce Attorney Ad (Video) | Is Your Spouse “Vermin?”

DivorceEZ is a very unique legal company in a sense that their advertisements are brutally honest.

Then again, if I were thinking of a divorce, seeing this would probably make my day.

I didn’t know it was legal to say things like this on TV, but of course, this is probably just meant to be a viral video. The concept is pretty damn smart if you consider how many people are looking to get divorced using online help.

After visiting the website I noticed that their prices were pretty cheap ($250) and that they had re-named their company ‘Divorce Deli.’ Tacky? Sure, but the name is sure to draw attention. These guys are marketing geniuses.

Another Apple iPad competitor has risen to the surface in the form of the BlackBerry Playbook. Looks like Apple needs to step up their game…

With a smaller screen but equally thin and light structure, there are real questions as to whether this tablet device will finally be able to knock the iPad off the top.

However, BlackBerry is known for catering to the more professional and business side of the population, so it remains to be seen as to whehter this device will be mass consumer friendly.

It’s unfortunate that he couldn’t hold the PlayBook in his hand, but I think some real comparisons will be coming soon.

Cute Puppy Hates Medicine | Saddest Reaction Ever!

There comes a time in life when we all must take our medicine, no matter how painful they might be. But few of us have the extreme reaction of this adorable newborn puppy.

I'm not quite sure what was in that syringe, but Fido definitely doesn’t like it! He gags and pulls faces long after I expected him too. The longer he protests, the funnier this video is!

In the end I almost feel sorry for him. I know that the medicine is for his own good, but do we have to torture the poor pup right now? I just want to give him a big cuddle!
