eBay watch: 1970s Bond Bug three-wheel car Posted: 11 Jan 2011 07:57 AM PST It's a cult car from the space age end of the 1970s - and a Bond Bug is on eBay right now. Designed by Tom Karen for Ogle Design (which also designed the Raleigh Chopper), this compact three-wheeler, the car was first seen in 1968 and went into production via Reliant in 1970, aimed at the hip young motorist of the day. The model here is described as an 850ES, registered in 1974 and packing an 850cc engine, two seats and some upgrade work by the current owner. It's also had a new paint job via the owner before that. Right now it's up for £3,000, which isn't cheap, but it's not exactly a car you'll see everyday. Saying that, we suspect it's a lot of fun to drive. Find out more at the eBay website

Marks and Spencer's new collection includes some bright florals, including this 'vintage' flower throw.  Decorated with clusters of blooms, though not vintage, it's definitely got a homely feel and could help make a cosy and stylish bedroom for generations to come. Bus Blind fabric designed by Margo Selby and People Will Always Need Plates for London Transport Museum Posted: 11 Jan 2011 05:05 AM PST Margo Selby and People Will Always Need Plates have collaborated on two new textile designs for the London Transport Museum, including the bus blind fabric pictured. The pattern is based around iconic bus routes and destinations, echoing the style of classic bus blinds. In a silver and black colourway, it is available on the same furniture as their moquette range. This textile isn't moquette though, instead being made of a cotton and viscose mix.  It's not the first time the designers have worked together - you may remember their Trellick Tower cushion, a design that's echoed in their second design which is based around closing tube doors.  Prices start at £39.99 for getting the fabric on a cushion.  Find out more online

House of Fraser launches the vintage-inspired Biba Bridal collection Posted: 11 Jan 2011 04:06 AM PST The initial collection of Biba for the House of Fraser didn't exactly set the world alight, bit the forthcoming Biba Bridal collection might find the company a significant niche market. It's a limited edition collection of seven designs, sold in runs of 100 for each, along with a range of accessories, all with a vintage influence that's said to reflect the brand's heritage. One of the designs is pictured above to give you an idea of what's coming. Look out for the range in February, sold in sizes 6 - 18 at the Bluewater, Dundrum, Glasgow, London Oxford Street, London Westfield and Manchester stores, as well as online. Prices are said to range from £575 through to £725, which isn't bad for a limited edition. The initial Biba range is now in the sale at House of Fraser too. House of Fraser website

Taken in the early 1960s, the photographs remained unpublished until this book was released last year. They show the market, its characters and traditions which have all but gone from the area now. F444 Sadle Chair by Pierre Paulin Posted: 11 Jan 2011 02:13 AM PST   The F444 Sadle Chair by Pierre Paulin dates back to 1963, but is now back in production by Artifort.  The original became a collector's item and icon representing innovations in 1960s design, but now, for a price, you can own one without scouring the vintage market. The chair consists of a stainless steel frame with a seat made from a choice of black or natural colour leather. It is available to buy from Dot Maison, priced £1,736.

Adidas London trainers back in red and green Posted: 11 Jan 2011 12:44 AM PST The Adidas London trainers are back once more. Or should that be twice? After all, the City Series favourite is returning in an a couple of eye-catching colours. Very strong red and green options to be precise. You can see the red over the page. Aside from that, it looks like business as usual, with a suede upper, leather detailing, gold 'London' branding, a textured tongue and a thin gum sole.
