The Skylon tower was built as part of the Festival of Britain but lasted only a year before being taken down It now just survives on London's Southbank as the name of the Royal Festival Hall resturant. Catherall's linocut makes it look like the futuristic creation it must have appeared like back then - he says he was aiming to capture the adventure and spirit of optimism of the festival. The colours used are perfect to reflect the period of Skylon and help create a striking piece of artwork. The print is limited to 60 and costs £195. Buy it from The Southbank Centre    |

Pedlars asked him to create a limited edition print about London, and what he has produced is a heart shape filled with the names of London neighbourhoods. The words are written in a 1960s style typeface, with the use of pink, red and orange adding to the psychedelic feel. The print run is limited to 100 copies, with each one sold signed and framed. The unit is made from solid oak and is divided into several compartments, including five drawers and two cupboards, creating plenty of space for storage as well as an unusual looking piece. | Brighton Rock (2011) movie reviewed Posted: 09 Feb 2011 01:08 AM PST It's just hit the cinemas and if you are debating whether to go and pay good money to see the 1960s-based remake of Brighton Rock, well, we're here to help. Cinedelica's man on the ground, The Scenester, hopped along to an early screening and checked out the new version, with a touch of 'compare and contrast' with the Boulting Brothers classic from the 1940s, which is actually coming back out itself on Blu-ray very soon.
