A pair of old school basketball shoes are back once more in 2011 - the Puma Clyde Script trainers.

Essentially this is a reissue of the classic 1970s Puma Clyde, but with a slightly different logo, the 'Clyde' being handwritten on the side. Aside from that, it's business as usual with premium suede uppers, padded leather tongue and collar and a contrast vulcanised sole.

Limited numbers and yours for £55.

eBay watch: 1972 Triumph GT6 sports car

Posted: 11 Mar 2011 08:41 AM PST

Gt6

A real gem from Triumph's past, with this Triumph GT6 sports car available on eBay right now.

It's a fine example too. Dating from 1972, it's really been looked after, tax and MOT in place and with plenty of servicing and upgrades over the years, right down to fresh oil and some anti-freeze recently added. See the selling page for a full breakdown.

There's 94,000 on the clock, interior is described as 'good'  and it's a real head-turner, that's for sure. Only thing worth mentioning on the downside is that the care has been off the road for over 15 years, but is 'ready to use' now, according to the seller. If you want it, you'll need to beat the current top bid of £2,350.

Pharmacist towel
Vintage-styled homewares from an unlikely source: this Pharmacy towel comes from H&M.

The towel is designed as if it shows the signage of an old American pharmacy: a look that would fit in well with the Three Potato Four products that we featured yesterday. If you like the look, H&M have plenty more products with a similar style to invest in, including a bath mat and a hand towel.

This towel costs £12.99.

The jug costs £20.

This vintage-inspired print of a lomography photo of New York is shot with a Holga camera and gives a retro-looking soft finish to the picture.

You can buy a print of the photo, entitled "New York City looking downtown" which was shot with a Holga CFN toy camera. The camera creates a dreamy lense and was taken with a Delta 2300 film to enhance the grainy quality of the photo.

It can be shipped from America for $6 and is 8 x 8 inches and costs $35 (£22.38) from Etsy.

Black and Tan Storage Trunks

VTF3590_M1
Even within the world of retro decor, there are trends and this year it looks as if vintage-style trunks are going to be big. The latest example we've spotted are these Black and Tan Storage Trunks.

Sold as a set of three of varying sizes, they are covered with a faux croc material and finished with a faux leather trim. They look just like the sort of luggage the wealthy traveller of yesteryear would cart around Europe, but as the modern tourist travels lighter, these are designed solely with storage in mind. And, I for one, could always do with more storage solutions to keep the clutter at bay.

They cost £375 per set from Graham and Green.
