The teacup and saucer cost £25 and the teapot costs £45. They are available exclusively at Rockett St George. |
Posted: 23 Jun 2011 07:42 AM PDT Meeting this summer's 1970s love affair perfectly, this bag is pretty and durable. It's perfect for the festival season and as it's real leather it's soft to touch but also will last a while. It's an idea buy for the summer and should last a lot longer. Even better news - it's in the sale at the moment at John Lewis - so while stocks last (and before we buy them all up) get yours for £39. |

Posted: 23 Jun 2011 07:03 AM PDT Apparently the shape is inspired by a dancer's poise (hence the name), but to us, those tapered legs and curves are midcentury design. The table has a matt walnut finish with the drawers in a contrasting red gloss. The finishing touch of a round mirror completes its vintage look. It costs £395 from Made, a bargain compared with the £1,295 high street price. Visit Made.com to order. |
Tiny Tim book light - a miniature Anglepoise-style lamp Posted: 23 Jun 2011 03:04 AM PDT They've already made an oversized Anglepoise, so perhaps it was only a matter of time before someone thought of shrinking it too. That's the case with this Tiny Tim book light. When it says tiny, it means tiny: the lamp is designed to clip onto a book to help you read. Otherwise it's a pretty good similarity - complete with adjustable head and arm so you can get your spotlight just where you want it. Available in either black or red, this book light costs £10. Kitchen concepts 2 by Brewers: vintage advertising wall covering Posted: 23 Jun 2011 02:59 AM PDT The covering is decorated with hundreds of different newspaper adverts that look like they date back to the early twentieth century, so there's plenty to interest the eye. It's made from vinyl meaning it's most suited to those areas needing to withstand some serious wear and tear - though it's called Kitchen Concepts 2, it could look quite eye catching in a small bathroom space. The covering costs £31.95 a roll. Buy it from Wallpaper Direct |
