New iPhone 4G Video | Gizmodo Leaks Apple Product After Employee Loses Prototype

Posted: 20 Apr 2010 08:20 AM PDT

This video shows what it reported to be the new iPhone 4G, Apple’s next big product launch. The leaking ahead of time comes courtesy of Gizmodo, which bought the prototype device after it was found in a bar in California.

This video, and the accompanying Gizmodo post, has caused massive controversy around the Web. People first assumed it was fake, but it’s now clear that is not the case, and this is actually the iPhone 4G.

Gizmodo got hold of the prototype after paying at least $5,000 for it. They bought it from a guy who found it in a Redwood City bar, after an Apple employee is said to have accidentally left it on his stool.

The Apple employee is likely to be in big trouble, especially after his details were posted on some less scrupulous websites. As for the rest of us, we get a sneak peek at the next iPhone, even though it’s very similar to last one.

Embarrassing Halo Bollywood Movie Trailer | IGN’s April Fools Prank

Posted: 19 Apr 2010 09:46 PM PDT

Being part Indian myself, I find it shameful when Bollywood rips-off American films and turns them into embarrassing musicals.

This trailer for the indian “Halo” had me furious at first, but then I came to find out that it was actually IGN’s April Fools joke. Phew!

Last year it was the fan-made Zelda movie trailer, but it was so well-produced that many speculated an actual production would happen; these fake trailers just keep getting better and better!

Had this trailer surfaced without IGN’s name on it, in full Hindi, and in blurry quality, I’m sure I would have been fooled completely. The music and dancing is on par with a lot of real Bollywood trailers.

Watch Funny Irish Stand Up Comedian Tommy Tiernan Video | Today’s Pansy Priests

Posted: 19 Apr 2010 09:17 PM PDT

Irish comedian Tommy Tiernan isn’t satisfied with the pretty boy priests we have these days, preferring a rough and tumble kind of church leader who has been around the bend…

I looked up Tommy Tiernan on the recommendation of a barman at my favourite Irish pub (Pugg Mahones – best steak sandwich ever). Knowing the barman, I should have expected this kind of hyper humor.

I love that he does a decent Australian accent, too. ;) AND he’s able to distinguish it from South African. It’s amazing how many people mix those two up.

Pagan spudless f@ckers!

If all preachers were like his imitation of an African preacher, I’d go back to church.

Watch What Is The Real Meaning Of 4-20 Video | History of National Weed Day

Posted: 19 Apr 2010 06:47 PM PDT

Could the origins of National Weed Day reside in five high school students looking for weed?

While it is national rather than international, that doesn’t mean we can’t all celebrate! It’s April 20th in Australia already…

Okay, so I’ve never gotten together with anyone on April 20th at 4.20pm to smoke some weed, but I love that there is a national day to celebrate the practice.

Of course, I am one of the people who thinks making marijuana illegal is a whole bunch of BS that is just silly.

Whether you ‘celebrate’ the day or not, take some time on the 20th to get the real facts about marijuana – not the corporate sponsored ‘facts’.

Awesome Puppet “Twilight” Saga Video | Vampire Puppets Parody Cult Teen Movie

Posted: 19 Apr 2010 06:06 PM PDT

It seems most girls are gaga for Twilight and its brooding antihero Edward Cullen. Personally I can’t think of a worse kind of foreplay than those sharp teeth nibbling on your neck. But I digress. While Twilight has passed me by, this puppet version amuses me greatly.

Here we see Twilight played out with puppets. Swoon as angsty Bella and mysterious Edward fall in love in puppet form!

This parody works so well because you can be a Twilight novice like myself and still appreciate it. Something tells me that the rabid fans will get even more out of it, and still not be offended.
