| Top Gear Spotted In The Wild Video | May, Clarkson, and Hammond Passed During Filming Posted: 15 May 2010 11:41 AM PDT Top Gear is my favorite TV show in the world, and I’m not alone. It doesn’t even matter whether you’re big into cars or not, it’s still a brilliant spectacle. After watching this trio of speed freaks on the television for years, imagine how it must feel to then see them filming Top Gear on the road?
If the reaction of these people is anything to go by, it’s exhilarating. They’re excited at the prospect of seeing Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May, and then they actually pass them and go into meltdown. I just hope the BBC never pulls the plug on Top Gear. Sure, some of the stunts are a little out there, consumer advice is thin on the ground, and some of the incidents are clearly staged. But so what? Top Gear is still genius.      |

T-shirts with “Sex Kitten” or “So many boys, so little time” on them, and pole dancing kits designed for preteens being two examples But what about a group of 7-year-olds performing Single Ladies by Beyonce?
People’s views on this seem to vary wildly. Some are aghast that such young children are being encouraged to dress scantily and cavort on stage to a song with adult themes and a sexy dance routine. While others think it’s fine. I don’t doubt that there is a movement to sexualize kids at too young an age, but I’m guessing these kids chose to mimic Beyonce in this way, rather than being forced to. So where’s the harm, really? It would probably help if it wasn’t uploaded to YouTube for the whole world to watch. But then newspapers and websites wouldn’t get a story out of it, would they.  |

As much as I laughed at this when I first saw it, I have to say that it is a pretty good idea… I don’t have a very big desk, and I currently have my kitten occupying a section of it. (Thankfully, he is sleeping rather than trying to eat my hands as I type.) I wouldn’t buy this exactly, but I wouldn’t mind a space just off the desk that is just for him…  |

| Texas Teacher Beats Student (Video) | As Seen On Good Morning America Posted: 14 May 2010 02:48 PM PDT A clip of a teacher from Houston, Texas beating a 13-year old student aired on Good Morning America today and has sparked a lot of controversy. Apparently the boy was caught laughing at a video of a handicapped girl dancing and the the teacher snapped. While some applaud the woman for her actions, I happen to be disgusted. Watch at your own risk. As a firm believer that violence solves nothing, I sincerely hope that this teacher never sets foot in a school again.  |
| 12-Year-Old Sings Lady Gaga Video | Greyson Chance Performing Paparazzi At School Posted: 14 May 2010 01:37 PM PDT I can’t stand Justin Bieber. He’s a little turd who looks like a fetus and sounds like a wasp trapped in your front room, constantly flying into the window. This video doesn’t feature Justin Bieber, but does feature someone who could become his biggest rival for the love and attention of preteens everywhere. His name’s Greyson Chance, and he’s actually pretty damn good.
Here we see Chance performing Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi on the piano in front of an assembled throng of other children. And while I’m not a fan of Lady Gaga either, mainly because she’s mental, this is a really good version of the song. Chance already has his own YouTube channel, and this video is set to turn him into a mainstream star. He’s already appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. If he can knock Bieber down a peg or two, then I’ll happily give him a Chance. Geddit?  |
