Aimee Mann – 4th Of July Video | Classic Pop Song Commemorating Independence Day

Today’s the fourth of July. Another June has gone by. Factual and the opening lines to 4th of July by American singer/songwriter Aimee Mann.

It’s a great song, which is very fitting as it’s Independence Day in the United States today. The music video isn’t official, but its imagery fits the song nicely.

My favorite line in the song is, “And when they light up, don’t I just think what a waste of gunpowder and sky.” Which, let’s face it, is exactly what fireworks displays are.

I wish everyone in the U.S. a Happy Independence Day, even though I’m British and you’re celebrating severing your ties to the old country. Still, whenever there’s an unpopular war, you still come running back to us for help. So that’s alright then.

Whenever a sequel to a movie comes out, it’s always popular to bash it simply because of it’s lack of originality. Here’s a list of some of the best most-hated sequels- are they really as bad as everyone says they are?

Until I saw this video montage, I thought I was the only one who enjoyed Jurassic Park 2 and Spiderman 3. Sure, none of them were as great as the original, but then again, that’s why they call those “classics.” It’s important to remember that great trilogies like Star Wars and Toy Story took years of planning and work.

Another great point that the narrator makes is that people tend to pick out a few details in a movie and bash them to death; almost forgetting to analyze the film as a whole. When it comes down to it, all you really have to ask yourself is: “Was it entertaining or not?”

Cute Voice Activated Corgi Video | Dog Only Likes British Accent

This video shows one of the oddest, and cutest, dogs I’ve ever seen! This corgi seems to have selective hearing, as he’ll only respond to his owner once he hears a British accent.

Perhaps it’s the pup’s UK heritage that sees him hone in on the sounds from the mother land. At any case, an Indian accent, or even the owner’s natural voice, just won't do.

To show this corgi is more than a one-trick pup the video shows him performing this “trick” at a variety of times and in a variety of settings. It never fails!

I guess this dog owner is doomed to speak like a Beatle forever if he wants any puppy love!

Kristen Stewart School Of Acting Video | Twilight Star Gasping, Fluttering Her Eyelids

I probably don’t need to tell you how absolutely massive the Twilight Saga movies have been. Each one’s arrival is greeted by hordes of screaming teens and tweens.

This probably means that these young girls will grow up acting just like Bella Swan, brought to life for the big screen by Kristen Stewart. So if you have young kids in to Twilight, you should be aware of what’s to come.

This video is a compilation of Kristen Stewart’s best bits. No, she’s fully dressed. Unfortunately.

Instead, this exposes her heavily-criticized style of acting, where gasping, intakes of breath, eyelid fluttering, and staring at nothing in particular while taking a slightly overlong pause are the order of the day.

Still, she must be doing something right, as she’s always in work. Maybe directors like what she does in their films.
