Dead Rising: Case Zero Trailer Video | PS3, Xbox 360 Game Prequel To Dead Rising 2 Posted: 31 Aug 2010 05:56 AM PDT Dead Rising: Case Zero is being released today on PS3 and Xbox 360. The prequel to the forthcoming Dead Rising 2 is only available through Xbox Live and PSN rather than as a full retail game.
Dead Rising 2 is due out at the end of September, but it’s being trailed by a prequel telling the story of how Chuck Greene came to be in Las Vegas where he encounters hordes of zombies. The story sees Greene trying to save his daughter from becoming one of the undead by finding and administering her a dose of Zombrex. If you enjoyed the original Dead Rising and are planning to buy Dead Rising 2 then you should seriously consider purchasing Dead Rising: Case Zero. And for n00bs, well you can’t go wrong with zombies, can you? |
Watch Funny Animated Short ‘Sketchy Duel’ Video | Pistols at Dawn! Or Not… Posted: 30 Aug 2010 07:06 PM PDT When two men go head to head in a duel, things don’t go quite as expected… This is one of those videos that I wasn’t even going to watch, but then I did and enjoyed it much more that most of the videos I watch. When I saw the title ‘Sketchy Duel’, I figured that things wouldn’t go according to the ‘one shot and someone is dead’ rules, but I didn’t expect what actually happened. Everything about this video is funny. Even the animation style and sound effects fit in perfectly for the era during which these sort of duels happened. |
Watch Hurricane Earl Update and Projected Path Weather News Video Posted: 30 Aug 2010 06:30 PM PDT Labor Day in the United States could get a lot more interesting along the east coast as upgraded Category 4 Hurricane Earl is projected to hit places like Long Island. Of course, these things can change pretty quickly, but Earl has shown he makes those changes towards being more dangerous. According to reports, New Yorkers still aren’t all that convinced that the hurricane will hit them, but emergency authorities are urging caution. If you are located anywhere along the hurricane path, you’d do well to get your house as secure as possible and then see if you can visit people further inland. |
Jimmy Fallon and Glee Cast Emmys “Born to Run” Video | Stars Perform Emmy Awards Musical Opening Posted: 30 Aug 2010 04:43 PM PDT New Emmys host Jimmy Fallon started yesterday’s awards ceremony with a bang, thanks to the cast of Glee and an assortment of other stars. The Emmys are typically pretty boring affairs, and this was just what the awards needed to shake things up. |
Everyday Parkour Video | ‘Last One’ Gym Game An Excuse For A Spot Of Free Running Posted: 30 Aug 2010 12:05 PM PDT We’ve all seen parkour videos before. There are tons on YouTube as people try to make a name for themselves and show their skills off to a wider audience. This video is no exception, but it wraps the whole thing up as a game played after attending the gym. And it’s brilliant.
The problem with many parkour videos is that they show people randomly jumping about between buildings with no overall concept. And they can get rather boring as there are only so many different stunts involved. The great thing about this video is that it actually has a plot. There are also some inventive stunts and some inventive uses of the environment. The music also rocks, and the twist ending is genius. Maybe I’m easily pleased but this is one of the best parkour videos I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen many. |
