The Baseballs “Umbrella” Cover Music Video | German Rockabilly Band Does Rihanna Posted: 15 Nov 2010 02:44 PM PST I’ve heard some interesting versions of Rihanna’s monster hit “Umbrella” in my time, but none quite as quirky as this take from German rockabilly band The Baseballs. The trio transports us back to the 1950s with their carefully coiffed hairdo and Elvis style swiveling hips. It’s enough to make a girl squeal with delight, just as the ones in this film clip do. All too often it seems that bands change things up just to get noticed, but this reworking of Rihanna’s dance hit is very clever. Fans of the Barbados born pop queen may not agree with me, but I think it might be better than the original!

iPhone 4 vs Windows Phone 7 vs Android G2 Video | EZ Grill Asks Which Will BBQ Faster? Posted: 15 Nov 2010 02:21 PM PST Taking its cue from Blendtec’s ever-popular Will It Blend? series, EZ Grill is now asking, Will It Grill? Or in this case, Which Will Grill Faster? The contenders are an iPhone 4 from Apple, a Windows Phone 7 HTC Surround, and a Google Android G2. It turns out the Android is first to bite the dust, with the iPhone 4 dying second just moments after its temperature warning system kicked in. Last man standing, however, was the Windows Phone 7 HTC Surround. This proves absolutely nothing, of course. Why would you ever BBQ an expensive smartphone, after all? Then again, who would ever blend anything that Blendtec has destroyed over the years. The point is this proves that an EZ Grill is capable of cooking a smartphone. Which is viral advertising at its best.
