Don Draper Vs. Samwell Mashup Music Video | What What (In The Butt) Mad Men Edition Posted: 16 Nov 2010 03:02 PM PST I do love a good mashup, and this video is a great one. Samwell meets Don Draper from Mad Men.
Samwell is that strange guy who recorded the What What (In The Butt) song that went viral a few years ago and has since become something of a gay men’s anthem. Don Draper, meanwhile, is the main character in Mad Men, the AMC show detailing the lives of Madison Avenue advertising agencies in the 1950s and 60s. Put them together and what have you got? A mashup with Draper providing the What What every time it is said throughout the song. Absolute frickin’ genius. |
New Winnie The Pooh Movie Trailer | Preview For New Take on Children’s Classic Posted: 16 Nov 2010 02:28 PM PST There have been many Winnie The Pooh movies in recent years, but none has me as excited as Disney’s latest offering, simply titled Winnie the Pooh. This video gave me a few chuckles, and made me very keen to check it out. I’ll insist I’m simply taking my three-year-old niece, but she’ll simply be a cover. We’ve got some time to wait though, as the Winnie The Pooh movie doesn’t hit US screens until July 15. |
Royal Wedding Video | Prince William and Kate Middleton Announce Their Engagement Posted: 16 Nov 2010 11:55 AM PST After months, if not years, of speculation that Prince William and Kate Middleton were about to get married, the pair have finally announced their engagement.
William and Kate got engaged six weeks ago but put off the announcement until now to allow the royal protocols of such events to be put in place. They also didn’t want to overshadow Remembrance Sunday. The couple, who will probably be King and Queen and England one day, met eight years ago while both studying at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. They started dating a few years later. The royal wedding will take place in the spring or summer of 2011, and I suspect millions of people will watch it, either in person or on TV. Let’s just hope this marriage lasts longer than most royal ones have of late. |
