| RETROKIMMER MEETS THE MAKEUP GIRLFRIEND! Posted: 12 Jun 2011 10:10 PM PDT  Terry Valdez "The Makeup Girlfriend" My dear friend and all around "fairy godmother" is great friends with Terry Valdez and wanted to cheer me up as this week was positively brutal. Girls gathering to mess with hair and makeup is always guaranteed to lift even the lowest spirits..... THANK YOU DEE FOR EVERYTHING...XXOOK Finally met Professional Makeup Artist Terry Valdez Saturday afternoon.... First I went to see my very dear friend and long time hair stylist, Rhonda Schooler. Rhonda invented my low light/highlight style of hair color. She colors my roots dark and then streaks the blonde outward on the strand. Makes you look much younger and she got the idea from one of Sharon Stone's pixie haircut photos.  Terry and Kimmer Another fun thing is that I am very old friends with Terry's sister Lillian. I have known of Terry for a very long time and just haven't had the pleasure to run into her until this past weekend.  Terry has some history in Detroit rock n roll as well. She was married to singer Dave Gilbert (armband) and together they had daughter Layla. Dee was married to Dave at the time he passed many years ago.  Kimmer and Skeeto Valdez Terry was also married to Skeeto Valdez the famed drummer (he kept her last name). Oddly we ran right into Skeeto in Troy after leaving Terry's home.  Here we were sipping wine and just messing around having fun....  Giving the crooked Stanley T Madhatter rock salute. Boy I loved those false eyelashes! Couldn't even feel them on! It just makes such a difference in your look. Just ask Elvira! Mary told me that my beloved Cobras are finally playing HERE where I can see them.... Miss Maribel was lovely to add Retrokimmer (+1) to their guest list to go to the Magic Stick and work their show. I will need an assistant for sure as I will no doubt be dancing and singing alot.......
