Although the look is very much of the past. At first glance, it's an 80s classic, ready to blast out your radio or tapes, albeit in a single shade of black or pink. The front of the cushion features a map of Paris, reduced to a graphic design that could just be taken for an abstract print. Flip it over and you have three things considered to be icons of Paris: the Eiffel Tower, a bicycle with basket on the front and a striped top. eBay watch: 1970s Erco glass and chrome ceiling light Posted: 07 Nov 2011 05:52 AM PST Something very distinctive and very much of its era - this 1970s Erco glass and chrome ceiling light. A mix of space age and modernism, the lampshade is made of brushed aluminium, featuring a long cylinder with a funnel base decorated with circular perforations at its base. It also has a large rim that's been lacquered white on the inside to maximise light reflection. Around that is a glass sphere, which rests on the bottom rim of the metal.As for condition, it is described as being in 'very good vintage condition' and 'in full working order', with just a few age related scratches and marks on the white lacquer work inside the aluminium lampshade.
