Official Eclipse Movie Trailer Video | Third Film In Twilight Series Released June 30, 2010 Posted: 11 Mar 2010 06:59 AM PST The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is the third film in the ongoing and insanely popular Twilight series of movies based on the books by Stephenie Meyer. This video shows the first full trailer to be released for the film, and replaces a short ten-seconds long preview clip which was doing the rounds yesterday.
Eclipse once again stars Kirsten Stewart as Bella, Robert Pattinson as Edward, and Taylor Lautner as Jacob. And this film more than any focuses on the love triangle between the trio of young starlets. There’s also obviously some BS about vampires, werewolves, and whether Bella should remain human. But we won’t worry about that. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is due to be released on June 30, 2010 in the U.S., with other countries to follow. There’s sure to be a lot of teenage girls having sleepless nights in the run up to its release. |
Cool $75,000 Working Jetpack Video | Start Saving Some Money For ‘The Martin’ Posted: 10 Mar 2010 08:20 PM PST Homemade jetpacks have existed for years, but they usually don’t have as much control or look as sleek as this commercial one. Here’s a video demonstration of ‘The Martin’ jetpack which is available for the cool price of $75,000. The Martin can run for 30 minutes before running out of gas and is said to be very very loud (hence the soothing overlapping music). I’m willing to bet that the military will be the first customers for this type of technology. I just can’t see any of these on the road anytime soon. |
Funny Heidi Montag Says No to Plastic Video | Ron Howard Directed Public Service Announcement Posted: 10 Mar 2010 06:03 PM PST In this new Funny Or Die public service announcement, Heidi Montag takes war on the banks and says no to plastic … cards that is. The clip has plenty of star power thanks to a cameo from Heidi's hubby Spencer Pratt and the camera work of Ron Howard. Heidi’s not really very funny in this, but she does benefit a great script. You’ve also got to admire her for attempting to pass as something more evolved than the pathetic fame-hungry starlet she seems to be. |
Watch How To Grow Fresh Food in a City Video | Install a Window Farm! Posted: 10 Mar 2010 04:16 PM PST Not only can you grown your own fresh food even though you live in the city, you can become part of a community working toward building better window farm systems. While it isn’t clear exactly how many veggies or meals she is getting out of all her hard work, this is a wonderful thing to see. I don’t live in New York, but I have next to no ground in which to plant crops. Using such a window system would be a great way to garden without the dirt, so to say. I’m curious to see if this will grow into an even bigger trend. |
Funny Oscars Red Carpet Video | Kid Pulls Funny Faces During Sandra Bullock Interview Posted: 10 Mar 2010 12:38 PM PST This video shows Sandra Bullock busy being interviewed on the red carpet at the 2010 Oscars about her chances of winning ‘Best Actress’ while some little brat is standing behind her pulling as many funny faces as he possibly can in the space of a minute. I kinda feel bad for Bullock but I must admit it’s funny to watch.
The woman, supposedly his mother, who is with the kid does appear to tell him off at one point, but her words fall on deaf ears, and he carries on mocking Ms. Bullock relentlessly. I’m just glad it was caught on camera, for two reasons. 1. It’s very funny. 2. I’m guessing the little brat, whoever he is, won’t be invited back next year. |
