Official Defendor Movie Trailer Video | Woody Harrelson Stars As An Amateur Superhero Posted: 20 Mar 2010 11:35 AM PDT Everyone in Hollywood seems to have the same idea at the same time. Which is why you often get a rush of movies of one type or genre. Expect lots of Twilight clones to start cropping up soon (it’s already begun on TV). But this year seems all about amateur superheroes. Kick-Ass is due out next month, but Defendor, starring Woody Harrelson as a crime-fighting average guy, is already out. And this is the trailer.
Woody Harrelson is one of those actors I can take or leave, along with Nicolas Cage and Matthew McConaughey. It’s not that they’re particularly bad actors, but they also don’t exactly excite when they come on screen. However, Harrelson was brilliant in Zombieland last year, and looks to have continued that trend with Defendor. Maybe he’s one of those actors who gets better with age. |
“Megamind” Teaser Trailer Video | Preview of New Animated Dreamworks Film Posted: 19 Mar 2010 07:36 PM PDT A new film from animation house Dreamworks is always cause for celebration. Here’s our first peek at the company’s latest flick, Megamind. While the plot doesn’t inspire me the cast definitely does. Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, and Jonah Hill always bring something exciting to a comedy role, and it’s thrilling to see Brad Pitt showing us his lighter side. Surely such incredible actors wouldn't sign on if this was terrible, right? Here’s hoping that Megamind is more Shrek than Shark Tale. |
Trololo Guy Stoned Parody Video | Eduard Khil Has Clearly Been Smoking Something Posted: 19 Mar 2010 04:55 PM PDT You’ve seen the original Trololo Guy video (and I’m hoping you love it as much as I do), but now comes the inevitable parodies. Starting with what the Trololo Guy would sound like if he were stoned. This made me laugh even more than the original, if that’s possible. And having seen people stoned off their faces, it’s actually a fairly accurate portrayal of what would happen.
The stupid thing is this is so simple an idea – some guy has just recorded himself doing a stoned version of the original Trololo song and laid it on top of the video. But it works extremely well. The Trololo Guy is destined to be a star of the Internet for some time to come. And this isn’t the only parody by any means. I for one can’t get enough. |
Man Plays Electric Air Guitar With His Mouth (Video) | Sounds Like The Real Thing Posted: 19 Mar 2010 01:35 PM PDT There really isn’t a way to properly describe this weird musical piece. It’s just one of those talents that you have to see to believe. Here we have a backing band and a guy who has nothing but a microphone- except what you hear sounds like an electric guitar! If I heard this music on the radio, I’d definitely think that there were two guitarists playing. |
God Of War III Review Video | All We Need Now Is A Walkthrough, a Guide, & Cheats Posted: 19 Mar 2010 12:52 PM PDT God Of War III is now out on the PS3, and it’s pretty damn awesome. OK, so it’s linear, and very similar to the two previous games, but it’s still a game that needs to be experienced. While a review is fine, it’s a walkthrough, guide, and cheats which most fans are seeking online. Well, at least the ones who are having trouble with the game.
God Of War III is a direct sequel to the last game, and the third title in a trilogy that has now come to an end. Which means there is a certain amount of closure at the end for people who have played all three games. While the gameplay in God Of War III remains the same, it’s the visuals that have been ramped up. The sheer scale of everything on screen is pure eye candy, and this is one game that’s as good to watch as a bystander as it is to play. |
