Have a great Christmas from all at Retro To Go

Peanuts

OK, we might pop in and out if we see anything interesting or indeed, anything cool going cheap in the sales. But to be honest, we're winding down from now, taking some time off with an open fire, Christmas TV, food and plenty of drink.

So from all at Retro To Go, have a great Christmas and a happy new year. Aside from the odd update, we'll be back in full force from the start of 2011 - a year which should see some changes (for the better) and a clutch of new writers joining the existing team for even more of what you've come to expect.

Thanks for sticking with us - we do appreciate the support.

Singing

Yes, another sale, this time from Urban Outfitters, which is offering discounts of up to 50 per cent right now across the design and fashion sections.

Which is good news for us, as Urban Outfitters always has some great retro-inspired designs. Only now, they're cheaper. Like this Jan Habraken Rain Shower Curtain, which is obviously inspired by the classic Singin' In The Rain and great for brightening up your bathroom.

It was £20, but now it's £10.

Matador

Another 'get in while you can' dale starts, with the John Lewis Clearance.

Allsorts of items in the sale, including plenty of classics both big and small. Once again, well worth spending some time browsing. Above is one those classics, the midcentury-inspired Content by Conran Matador Armchair, a take on the wing chair with flared arms, curved sides and a tapered back.

It's in a caterpillar green, discounted from £999 to £699. Check out this and everything else while stocks last.

Fila

End Clothing always has a good end of year sale - and the current one has just started, offering the usual big discounts on classic labels.

Indeed, there's some cracking clobber at knock-down prices,  the likes of Baracuta, Adidas (including the Craftmanship Samba trainers, Roms and Gazelle OG to name just three), A.P.C, as well as Pretty Green, Fila Vintage, Gitman, Heritage Research, Fred Perry, Levi's, Lyle & Scott, Lacoste, Sergio Tacchini and many more.

Just one example above, the Fila 82 Crewneck we featured a short time back. Then it was £69, now it's a tasty £41 - and perfect for the weather.
