Cute Cat Playing Duck Hunt Video | Funny Feline Chases Prey Up The TV Screen

Posted: 09 Sep 2010 10:39 AM PDT

Duck Hunt is a true classic among video games. I spent many an hour back in the day shooting the ducks on my tiny TV. And I had a lot of fun doing it as well.

However, I never thought about challenging my cat to a a contest. Something which, after seeing this video, I kind of regret.

This cat is crap at the game, granted. I mean, it doesn’t even attempt to pick up the zapper and shoot the ducks as they fly up the screen and away, instead using its paws to swipe at them.

The poor kitty doesn’t score one kill, and he looks pretty frustrated by the whole experience. Perhaps it should learn to hold a gun and play properly then. I’m sure the owner could help.

Rich Cronin Music Video | LFO Singer Dies

Posted: 09 Sep 2010 03:36 AM PDT

The former lead singer of LFO, Rich Cronin, has died of leukemia at the tender age of 35. This video shows Story Of My Life, one of his more recent releases.

Cronin headed up LFO, a 90s boyband best known for their 1999 hit Summer Girls, for which Cronin wrote the lyrics. LFO stands for Lyte Funky Ones, and the band sang a combination of pop and rap.

LFO eventually split in 2002, and in 2005 Cronin was diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia after suffering constant, painful headaches. He recovered, entering remission after two years.

Unfortunately, he has now died at just 35. He will be missed by family, friends, and the fans who stood by him and the band as a whole. Rest in Peace.

Funny ‘Sex Ed Rocks’ Screamo Song (Video) | How Smosh Was Expelled From High School

Posted: 08 Sep 2010 09:26 PM PDT

The screamo band I Set My Friends On Fire and the YouTube duo Smosh put together a hilarious music video about hitting puberty back in 2005. Apparently it was so controversial that it got Smosh expelled from school.

You can see the video in it’s entirety here, although, I must warn you that it’s pretty damn hardcore!

If this video really was made in 2005, then that means the members of Smosh were only 17 when it was produced- which makes it even more awesome! Everything from the subtitles to the webcam effects are both professional and hilarious.

It is estimated that Smosh collectively makes over $100,000 annually through YouTube partner advertising. Not bad for some goofy drop-outs eh?

Watch ‘Dead’ Baby Brought to Life with Hug From Mother News Video

An incredibly rare case showing the benefits of skin to skin contact features premature baby Jamie being brought back to life.

This is such a beautiful story of how important physical contact is, even right from birth.

I am a bit disgusted at the behaviour of the doctor who simply ignored what was going on for an entire two hours.

Sure, if they had been telling him within five minutes that the baby was still alive, it might be different. But they had been warned and only thought something might be going on after a long while.

All the negativity aside, a big congratulations to the parents.

Watch Introducing Google Instant Search Info Video | Easier & Faster Browsing

Google is singing loud and proud as they announce the new Google Instant Search which takes searching and predictive text to a whole new level.

Because, OMG, pressing enter was, like, so hardz!

Don’t throw your virtual tomatoes at me just yet. I do understand this technology is a big step forward and impressive in what it is.

That being said, was it really that impressive when you didn’t have to press enter? Is your time so precious that a few seconds saved is wonderful?

Again, I can appreciate the new shiny, but I shake my head at it as well. I can’t help myself.

Seconds. My precious seconds…

Funny M. Night Shyamalan Video | Cult Director Learns Terrible Truth

Posted: 08 Sep 2010 04:39 PM PDT

When M. Night Shyamalan burst onto the film scene with The Sixth Sense, he was lauded as the most exciting director of this generation. But soon the fickle public began to tire of his twists, and every movie he released seemed more lackluster than the last.

Now M. Night Shyamalan must face the cold, hard truth. Nobody likes him very much.

Framed as the trailer for his latest film, M. Night Shyamalan has never seemed more appealing than when he’s struggling with this terrible truth. Honestly I feel sorry for the guy.

At least, I will until I see Devil and get disappointed all over again!
