Tretchikoff-inspired Green Lady print by Stan Chow

Green

If you don't want to pay the constantly-inflated prices that the original goes for these days, you might be interested in the Tretchikoff-inspired Green Lady print by Stan Chow.

The originals do indeed go for a price, especially when you consider it was bargain basement art - one here on eBay  is priced at over £237. This print is a print inspired by Vladimir Tretchikoff's midcentury gem, with Chow adding his own pop art twist.

Sized at 13 x 19 inches and printed on 100% Cotton Matte Archival 315gsm paper, you can pick it up for £20.

eBay watch: 1970s space age alarm clock lamp

Posted: 10 Dec 2010 09:22 AM PST

Spacelamp

Not sure of the make, the designer (if there is one) or the specific year, so let's just refer to this as 1970s space age alarm clock lamp.

The lampshade is apparently made of brushed aluminium with perforations on the top for ventilation, while the stem and base are made of chocolate brown plastic. That's not forgetting the digital alarm clock at the front of the base with a black face and a rectangular protective perspex screen, along with 'light up' green numbers.

It's described as being in 'very good condition' and in 'full working order', with a few age related marks - see the site if you want to know more about that. Right now, it's at just £1.20.

Barbour 75th Anniversary International Jacket now on sale

Posted: 10 Dec 2010 06:27 AM PST

Barbour75

We flagged this up a few weeks back, with December 1st mentioned for a launch date. That never happened, but at last, the Barbour 75th Anniversary International Jacket is finally available to buy online, if you are quick.

As we said back then, it's been produced to celebrate 75 years of the International jacket. Barbour are making 75 of the limited edition jackets, based on the original design, which was created for the 1936 International Six Day Trials. Worn by competitive motorcyclists through to the 1970s and of course, famously by Steve McQueen. Take your pick from a 'box-fresh' or 'distressed' finish (the latter pictured above), both of which are available now.

End Clothing has it, £375 is the price of the 'box-fresh', £425 is the cost of the 'distressed' version.

Sentou Edition 1950s-style Lalinde side table

Posted: 10 Dec 2010 06:12 AM PST

Lalinde

No, this isn't (as far as we know) a vintage design, the Sentou Edition Lalinde side table is inspired by, rather than reissued from, the 1950s.

Love those tapered, midcentury-style angled legs, as well as the bold colours on the lacquered surface, which is available in 'round' or 'bean'. If you fancy something toned down, there's also a natural wood finish in the range.

Available online, prices start at £153.
