Top 10 Anchorman Quotes Video | Ron Burgundy Is A Legend, And So Is Brick Tamland

Posted: 08 Nov 2010 10:38 AM PST

This is a video featuring one person’s interpretation of the Top 10 quotes from Anchorman. They prove that Ron Burgundy is indeed a legend. But so is Brick Tamland.

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy appears to be in the news again, partly because it’s being shown on TV, and partly because Texas Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton quoted a line from the movie a few weeks ago.

Hamilton was asked what a certain part of the game felt like, and he replied, "It was a glass case of emotion."

If you haven’t yet seen Anchorman then I thoroughly recommend you do so. It’s rare for me to like a comedy enough to hold on to the DVD but Anchorman is one such film, alongside Superbad and Borat.

Miranda Kerr Shows Baby Bump for Fistula PSA Video | Pregnant Supermodel Speaks Out for Fight Against Fistula

Posted: 08 Nov 2010 12:31 AM PST

Pregnant supermodel Miranda Kerr has showed off her baby bump in a public service announcement for Fight Against Fistula.

The charity campaign looks to raise awareness for fistulas, a pregnancy complication which leaves millions of women incontinent in third-world countries. Without sufficient medical care, their babies lost and they are doomed to a lifetime of isolation and humiliation.

With Miranda expecting her own child with husband Orlando Bloom in a couple of months, no doubt the plight of these women less fortunate than herself has hit home. She speaks from the heart, with such conviction that it’s impossible not to be moved by the message.

Funny Obama Rap Song (Video) | Waka Flocka Parody ‘Head Of The Motherfucking State!’

Posted: 07 Nov 2010 08:12 PM PST

Waka Flocka, for those that aren’t into mainstream rap, is perhaps the worst “new up-and-coming rapper” of 2010. His single “Hard In The Paint” may have a few million views on YouTube, but this Obama parody of it has even more!

Be warned that there is some explicit language in this clip; however, that’s also what makes it one of the funniest rap parodies I’ve ever seen.

The effort that it took to make this parody is just incredible! First, you’d have to find a guy who can rap and sound just like Obama, write the verses and record them, and then hire all of the people for the video. The directing is very comparable to the original music video.

For those of you that haven’t seen the original Waka Flocka music video, you can check it out below. It’s pretty much the same as any other typical rap video out today.

Watch Funny Top Gear’s Stig Farm on BBC Video | Breeding The New Stig

Posted: 07 Nov 2010 06:26 PM PST

On the Top Gear farm, most of the Stigs they breed are, well, fairly useless. However, every now and then they find one that shows some promise…

And, of course, what they don’t tell you is how Jeremy Clarkson likes to run around the farm harassing the Stigs while wearing overalls and carrying a pitchfork.

It is really no wonder that some of the Stigs are so horribly emotionally scarred. I mean, really. Overalls?

Once, James May pretended to be one of the Stigs and ended up in therapy for a week after one of Jeremy’s visits. Will it never end?

Watch Funny Find Chuck Norris on Google Joke Video | You Feeling Lucky?

This funny little prank didn’t work for me with Google.com.au, but then again, that’s what we have people on YouTube doing it for, isn’t it?

Somebody at the Google office is feeling a bit bored today with the most recent Google prank involving an interesting answer to the ‘find Chuck Norris’ query.

I am a little disappointed that this stuff tends to happen only on the US Google. It didn’t work for me – and I had to turn off instant search first.

I may be in Australia, but the thought of Chuck Norris hunting down innocent Americans amuses me, too!

Altiyan Childs “The X Factor Australia” Video | Rock God Does INXS “Never Tear Us Apart”

Posted: 07 Nov 2010 03:57 PM PST

Altiyan Childs proved he’s the one to watch in The X Factor Australia with his searing version of INXS’ “Never Tear Us Apart.”

Michael Hutchence left some very big shoes to fill when he passed away in 1997. INXS have gone through more lead singer changes since than most bands, but if they’re ever looking to replace JD Fortune Altiyan Childs could certainly step up.

With this performance Altiyan took The X Factor beyond a mere karaoke contest. He was gut-wrenchingly believable, taking control of the lyrics and making every one his own.

If we’re looking for a star with X Factor, I think we found him.

Matt Cardle On The X Factor Video | Sings ‘The First Time (Ever I Saw Your Face)’ Cover

Posted: 07 Nov 2010 01:04 PM PST

Matt Cardle has put himself right up there as a contender for The X Factor this year with this performance of The First Time (Ever I Saw Your Face).

Anyone failed to be moved by this near-perfect cover of the song made famous by Roberta Flack needs their head examining. Cardle put so much emotional energy into the vocal it’s hard not to be affected by it.

There is a reason for this, as he explained on The Xtra Factor:

“My mum’s best mate was killed when I was 11 and she had four kids. My mum took on those kids and they made our family absolutely better. And the oldest one [of the kids] met his girlfriend under similar circumstances and I sang that at their wedding as she came into the church. The whole day was one of the most emotional of my life and it brought it all back.”

Cardle will now have to do something terrible not to make it through to the final, probably alongside One Direction and Roberta Ferguson. I do, however, have a soft spot for Cher Lloyd.
