Grown Ups Movie Review Video | Adam Sandler & Co. Have Made A Trainwreck

Adam Sandler has to be one of the most inconsistent actors of all time. I like him in Happy Gilmore, 50 First Dates, Click, and Funny People. But the rest of his movies pretty much suck.

And it appears Grown Ups, which Sandler also wrote and produced, is another one to add to the pile marked ‘Crap’. In fact, in terms of reviews and review scores, Grown Ups could be Sandler’s worst effort to date.

This is a video review of Grown Ups, and the reviewer doesn’t hold back. He regards Grown Ups as a series of sketches just to set up a joke, rather than a movie which sits together thanks to a comprehensible storyline.

You know a movie sucks when a reviewer urges you not to watch it so strongly that they implore you not to even download it from the Internet for free. And if it’s not worth watching when free, it sure as hell isn’t worth paying good money for.

The teaser trailer for Red, the film based on the comic book of the same name looks like a lot of fun. That’s mostly due to the unexpected casting of Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman, and John Malkovich as a trio of unlikely assassins.

Now perhaps with his shifty eyes I can imagine Malkovich as a cold-blooded killer, but he is getting a bit long in the tooth. But Freeman and Mirren? Aren’t they everyone’s idea of the perfect grandparents? Perhaps that’s just what makes this film seem so appealing.

Bruce Willis and Mary Louis Parker seem to do a credible job in the supporting roles, but it’s the old folks that will have me handing over my dollars. This looks like a lot of fun.

New Apple iPhone 4 Fail: Dropped Calls Video | Sucks to be Left Handed

Apple is now fielding accusations that they hate left-handed people because the iPhone 4 constantly drops calls when held in the left hand.

Technically, it sucks to be right-handed too, as people will hold the phone in their left hand if they need to write something down or do something with their right hand.

At the moment, ‘bumpers’ for the iPhone sell for about $30, but I see those prices going down if Apple doesn’t want to deal with another pile of criticism.

This video is just one more thing to make me cheerful about not owning – or considering buying – an iPhone.

When a man has to eat, a man has to eat! I just wouldn’t want to be the one who tells the President that there are no french fries…

I wonder what the security procedures are on a burger run. Do they have to do a background check to make sure the employees on that day have the correct political leanings?

Maybe security just watches them while they cook to make sure they don’t do anything to the burgers.

Anyway, I’m not honestly sure why this is making news, but I’m sure it gave the employees of Ray’s Hell Burger one hell of a shock.

Alongside toothache, a knock to a man’s testicles has to be the worst pain possible barring the obvious: childbirth, injury, and illness.

The fact is that this video will literally make men everywhere ooh, aah, and avert and their eyes rather than watch this young lad experience the pain that’s almost a rite of passage on the way to becoming a man.

Skateboarding down this steep hill in the luge position was clearly not a good idea. But we’ve all done things as kids that we look back on with a mixture of regret and awe.

This kid might have a bigger reason to remember this incident when he gets told he can’t father children because his balls don’t work any more. Unless, of course, he’s young enough that they’re safely tucked up inside when he slams into the lamppost.

Arrivederci Italy Video | Italians Exit 2010 World Cup After 3-2 Loss To Slovakia

Something strange is happening at this World Cup, with 2010 appearing to be the year of the giant-killing. France lost to South Africa to exit the other day, and now Italy have joined them.

Which begs the question: Will the 2010 World Cup be won by an outsider?

For decades there has been an obvious and undeniable pecking order in international football. Countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Italy, France, and Germany were top dogs, while African, East European, and Asian teams were also-rans.

However, it looks as though this could be changing. OK, so one of Brazil, Argentina, the Netherlands, or England is probably still going to lift the trophy in a couple of weeks, but make this is still a World Cup which has seen the gap between top and bottom cut substantially.

Au revoir, France. Arrivederci, Italy.
