Plumber Prank Video | How Long Will Water Heater Fitters Last While Being Annoyed?

Posted: 26 Mar 2010 11:10 AM PDT

The setup to this prank is simple: you’re having a water heater fitted, and you need to annoy the plumbers so much that they”ll either want to leave or want to punch you in the face. Or both.

This guy chooses various methods to annoy the plumbers; asking stupid questions, freaking out at the slightest thing, reading from a history book, playing music really loudly, and getting a half-naked hot chick to dance to the music, and singing Happy Birthday wrong for no reason.

But the best prank has to be the whole Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana lesson.

I’m not sure whether I believe that the “victims” were unaware of what was happening. They seemed to take it all a little too well, and the guy would surely have had to explain why he was filming them.

Still, it’s quite a funny prank, regardless of whether the plumbers were in on it to a certain extent or not.

Ghost Recon Future Soldier Live Action Video | Tom Clancy Game Gets Short Film Trailer

Posted: 26 Mar 2010 07:07 AM PDT

Ghost Recon Future Soldier is a game that’s due out on PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii this fall. But prior to that, there will be a 20-minute live-action short film released, of which this is the trailer.

It essentially brings the game to life, showing some of the characters involved, the technology used, and the gameplay mechanics. So there is personal cloaking, backpack missiles, and a strange droid-like tank to give support to the soldiers. Which is all very impressive.

The Ghost Recon Future Soldier film, made by Oscar-winning duo Francois Alaux and Herve de Crecy, is due out at Christmas, and acts as a prequel of sorts.

But before that will be the multiplayer beta this summer, available to people who purchase Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction for the Xbox 360 from April 16. Which, judging by this video, has to be worth getting in to.

Annoying Orange: Web Series About Funny Fruit | What Really Happens Before You Eat

Ranked #58 of the most subscribed comedians on YouTube, The Annoying Orange is the series about the everyday life of a very aggravating citrus.

Complete with weird teeth, big eyes, no nose and squeaky voice, this comedy will have you laughing like a kid again.

Most episodes tend to get repetitious, beginning with an interrogation of an unsuspecting guest and ending in the same violent massacre of fresh produce. Childish, sure, but the concept almost never gets old. Check it out for yourself. New episodes premiere every Friday.

Wazzup! Episode

This is perhaps the most famous Annoying Orange webisode. If you don’t like this one, chances are you won’t like the rest.

Lady Gaga Does Christmas Carols Spoof Music Video | Bizarre Pop Singer Gets Festive

Posted: 25 Mar 2010 11:58 PM PDT

March might be a little early to start thinking about the festive season, but when I spotted this video I couldn’t resist sharing it. Lady Gaga and Christmas seem like oil and water, but this clip helps us imagine what her festive CD might be like.

In fact, it seems a lot like any other Lady Gaga album. You didn’t think she’d tone down the raunch for the festive season, did you? Instead Ms Gaga gyrates her way through newly appropriated versions of her biggest hits.

Who needs “Silent Night” and “Jingle Bells” when you can sing along to “Ho-ho-Hoker Face”?

Amazing Adobe Photoshop CS5 Video | ‘Content Aware Fill’ Days Of Work In Seconds

Posted: 25 Mar 2010 09:24 PM PDT

The new Photoshop release is approaching fast and with it are some incredible features like the “content aware fill” one shown above.

It has the ability to do photo retouching work which would originally take days to do in just a matter of seconds.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve taken a picture and just wanted to take out certain objects from it (trees, other people, etc). I have no idea how they could design a complex tool such as this (complicated algorithms maybe?) but I’m glad it exists now.

Of course, the narrator of the video doesn’t actually say that this will make it to CS5, but a bunch of people are counting on it. This is really a huge step in the craft of photo manipulation. Tricks like last one would be impossible to do with today’s technology.

Scott Pilgrim Vs the World Movie Trailer Video | Michael Cera Takes On Evil Exes

Posted: 25 Mar 2010 07:19 PM PDT

Michael Cera may be one of the most endearing actors working in Hollywood at the moment, but a superhero he ain’t. But that only makes the premise of his latest film Scott Pilgrim vs the World all the more hilarious.

When rollerblading Ramona rolls into town, Cera’s Scott Pilgrim is clearly smitten. But it turns out she has more baggage than your average young lady, namely the league of ex boyfriends who will do whatever it takes to eliminate her new love.

And so Scott much defeat the scorned superhuman beaus to win the heart of his dream girl.

Yes, this plot is ridiculous and over-the-top, but isn’t it nice to see a Hollywood blockbuster that’s not like the others?
