11 Year-Old Finds ‘Missing Link’ (Video) | Yet Another Discovery Proving Evolution

Posted: 12 Apr 2010 10:30 AM PDT

Well, if you’re a believer of Creationism then today most definitely isn’t your lucky day. Yet another “missing link” has been found which dates humankind back to 2 million years ago.

The interesting aspect of this story is the fact that the remains were actually found by an 11 year-old boy.

Haven’t we found enough fossils already to finally start calling the theory of evolution a “fact?” This one is nearly half-ape and half-human- what more proof do you need?

Now if someone could kindly explain how the father has an American accent and the boy has a British one, I think I’d finally be able to understand everything in this video.

Amazing Yo-Yo Video | A True Master At Work

Posted: 12 Apr 2010 09:54 AM PDT

Yo-yo is one of those annoying toys/sports that is deceptively hard to master. Anyone, and I mean anyone, can do the basic up and down trick, yet doing anything more complicated successfully requires skill and patience.

This guy is clearly someone with a lot of time, patience, and inherent skill. Three things I don’t possess, unfortunately. He makes the yo-yo look simple, when it is in fact amazingly hard to master.

When I was a kid, we had yo-yo champs come to our school to demonstrate tricks. And almost everyone who saw them thought they could do it too and consequently bought a yo-yo. Within a week, most of us had given up, me included.

Amazingly, the yo-yo has been around since at least 500 BC, and they’ve been used as a kids’ toy and hunting weapon ever since.

John Gotti Jr. On 60 Minutes Video | Former Gambino Family Head Talks About His Life

Posted: 12 Apr 2010 05:52 AM PDT

John Gotti Jr. spoke to CBS’ 60 Minutes show about his old life as first son of the Gambino family boss, and then becoming the boss himself. Here he reveals he spent his whole life scared about getting whacked.

I don’t really like seeing gangsters and former criminals reveling in their previous lives. But it happens an increasing amount these days, as these former bad men realize they can make more money selling their stories.

Which is exactly what John Gotti Jr. is now doing, having been informed he will not be pursued any longer for past crimes he’s alleged to have been involved with.

So instead, he’s telling his life story in as many ways as he can, including a movie, an autobiography, and a television documentary.

Is that right? Probably not, but there’s nothing to stop him doing it. And there will, unfortunately, be enough people interested to make it all worthwhile, and very financially beneficial, to Gotti.

Funny Tetris God Video | Video Game God Unleashes Block Wrath

Posted: 11 Apr 2010 05:39 PM PDT

At some time or another during a round of the classic video game Tetris, you may start to wonder whether a supreme being is controlling the blocks. And if he is, why on earth is he being so cruel?

This video introduces us to that Tetris god, a merciless creature who seems to delight in inflicting pain upon the player below. He controls the blocks that fall, and withholds the one you need until you can’t help but give in.

His decisions seem senseless, but don’t you dare question him. He knows, and will only delight in torturing you some more!

Guy Calls 911 For Phone Sex (Video) | Asks Operator ‘You Got A Nice Butt?’

Posted: 11 Apr 2010 12:59 PM PDT

This is probably up there with the kid who called for math help as one of the most ridiculous 911 calls ever. Rather than reporting violence, a fire, or some other actual emergency, one man called to get sexually aroused.

Thinking that the operator would actually come and visit him, he gave up his address and was arrested.

I’ve been really horny before, but I don’t think I would go to this extent to for a little arousal. Right off the bat, the questions he asks are sexual; it’s almost as if he ignores the fact that it’s an emergency call.

So why would he call 911 instead of a real phone sex line? Apparently he “ran out of cell phone minutes.”
