Get Him To The Greek Trailer Video | Judd Apatow Movie Stars Jonah Hill & Russell Brand

Posted: 05 Jun 2010 08:35 AM PDT

Get Him To The Greek is the new movie from the creative mind of Judd Apatow, best known for Superbad, Knocked Up, and Funny People. And it follows a very similar route to those movies.

Get Him To The Greek stars Jonah Hill as a record company employee charged with getting fading rock star Aldous Snow to the location of an anniversary concert. But things don’t exactly go smoothly.

The Aldous Snow character has already been seen in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but in that film he was merely a bit-part player. Get Him To The Greek sees him promoted to front and center.

Get Him To The Greek is getting positive reviews, with many people regarding it as the best comedy of 2010 so far. This year’s The Hangover? Possibly, at least if you appreciate Judd Apatow’s particular brand of comedy. Which I do.

Jimmy Carr Loves “Flavor of Love” Video | Comedian Talks About Flavor Flav’s Reality TV Show

I’ve always thought of British comedian Jimmy Carr as a man of great distinction, taste, and pedigree. But it seems even he isn't immune to the guilty pleasures of reality television.

During this appearance on TV Heaven Telly Hell Jimmy tells of his favorite reality TV series, Flavor Flav’s search for romance Flavor of Love. This is like The Bachelor on speed, the kind of car crash TV that we know is terrible but compels us anyway.

Jimmy Carr’s tongue-in-cheek commentary only adds to the humor of this over-the-top TV show. I’m not sure if Flavor Flav ever found true love, but I’ll bet he had a lot of fun making it!

Star Wars iPad Mashup Video | Forget The Death Star, Steve Jobs Needs To Sell The iPad

This is utter genius – combining Steve Jobs’ unveiling of the Apple iPad with the scene from Star Wars in which the attack on the Death Star is planned. The Rebel Alliance clearly aren’t Mac fanboys.

It’s the oldest trick in the book to combine audio and video from two different sources, but it really depends which choices are made as to whether it’s successful or not.

This particular mash-up works far too well. It has Steve Jobs showing the iPad off to the pilots embarking on the mission to blow up the Empire’s Death Star. Even Hans Solo and Chewbacca are there, bored as usual.

My favorite part is when someone in the crowd shouts, “Bullshit” after Jobs describes the iPad as much better than a laptop and a smartphone. Or when Stephen Fry pops up as C3PO at the end. Fantastic.
