How Indy 4 Should Have Ended Video | Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of The Crystal Skull

Posted: 05 Aug 2010 07:58 AM PDT

There’s an argument that George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, and co. should never have even bothered making Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of The Crystal Skull. The first three were fine as they were, so why not leave them well alone?

But that wasn’t to be, and they did produce an Indy 4. And it sucked.

This video shows how Indy 4 should have ended. Once Indy hides in a fridge to survive a nuclear bomb test, don’t have him brush himself off and then get on with things. Instead, call it a day and realize the game is up.

Then, start making apologies all round and move on. But not before you make sure Shia Labeouf gets mauled by monkeys in the forest. Because that is more believable than having them help him catch up with his father by teaching him to swing on vines like Tarzan.

The Human Centipede HD Trailer Video | Sick Dutch Horror Film That Borders On Comedy

Posted: 05 Aug 2010 07:15 AM PDT

This video features the HD trailer for The Human Centipede, a film which will likely disgust and amuse in fairly equal measures. The idea behind the plot is hugely disarming, but the actual film is a little pedestrian.

The Human Centipede is a Dutch horror film with the simple premise of a sick doctor who kidnaps three tourists in order to conduct an experiment he’s been cooking up for years.

The experiment involves surgically joining the three people together mouth-to-anus, so that they become one living organism feeding off each other. It doesn’t bear thinking about, in all honesty.

The film is being released on DVD and Blu-ray in October, and writer/director Tom Six is already working on a sequel. Saw and Hostel are the mainstream sicko movies, but The Human Centipede may also be worth checking out.

Replacing Asphalt with Solar Highways (Video) | Yet Another Oil Saving Alternative

With oil prices steadily increasing, it’s getting harder and harder to afford paving roads. Rather than having a road that is a drain on expenses, these engineers have designed a prototype that could actually provide solar power.

Using this technology, the traffic in your neighborhood could help power the lights at your house.

I’m no environmental engineer, but this seems like a pretty green idea. We live in such a car-loving society that I’m actually surprised it took this long for this concept to surface. It seems great on paper and done on a small scale, but I’ve got a few questions.

First of all, what about weather conditions? If the roads are made of glass, will they crack under freezing weather? And what about steep surfaces? How would roads near the mountains be made?

Watch Woman Paint Pictures with Her Boobs Video | Breast Brush Art

Who needs brushes when you have two perfectly big ‘brushes’ attached to your body?

When I first saw the title of the video, I had to shake my head. Surely nothing could be very good when paints with your boobies.

Lo and behold, I quite like what they showed. The big blue painting, especially. It almost reminds me of an impressionistic night sky.

What is art and what isn’t really comes to the eye of the beholder, but I count this one as art.

Mind you, I can’t help but wonder what the paint remover does to all the sensitive skin around that area…

Watch People Celebrate as Prop 8 Overturned in California News Video | Gay Marriage Ban Unconstitutional

Posted: 04 Aug 2010 07:34 PM PDT

Judge Vaughn R. Walker struck down Proposition 8 today – the bill that banned same sex marriage – calling it unconstitutional, much to the delight of many people.

Woohoo! I have a friend who had to cancel her wedding because of proposition 8, and now things are looking up for her again.

As far as I figure it, same sex marriage isn’t an issue. It only becomes an issue for people because of religious matters, but the fact is that marriage is a government recognized status.

Government and religion shouldn’t mix. If a church doesn’t want same-sex marriages happening under its roof, then don’t allow it there.

But don’t ban an entire section of the population from at least having the government recognized status.

And as for all the people who equate homosexuals getting married to people getting married to animals: stop the hate.

Chris Crocker Australian Election Spoof Vide | Leave Julia Alone!

Posted: 04 Aug 2010 04:43 PM PDT

With the Australian election less than three weeks away, locals are already choosing sides and voicing their views. But few do it with the flamboyance of this guy, who's made a parody of Chris Crocker’s famous “Leave Britney Alone” video to show his Labor allegiances.

Honestly, I thought the Chris Crocker boat had sailed. I’m probably right about that. But whether this spoof is timely or not doesn’t really seem to matter. Aussie news has jumped on this web video, and its creator has become a bit of a YouTube celeb.

I’m not sure it’ll encourage the media and Liberal party to go easy on Australia’s flame haired prime minister Julia Gillard, but it definitely delivers its message!

Amazing Pomparkour Video | What You Get When You Add Step Ladders To Parkour

Posted: 04 Aug 2010 04:25 PM PDT

If parkour isn’t already exciting enough, why not add some ladders to it to form pomparkour, an even more amazing and dangerous sport.

Parkour appeals to me greatly. Here’s a sport which requires no equipment other than the buildings and architecture all around. And which looks absolutely amazing to watch.

It’s also a sport which requires a hell of a lot of skill and athleticism, at least at the highest level. But it can also be tried by anyone.

This video shows pomparkour, which is parkour with ladders added to the mix. And it looks downright scary and dangerous both for those taking part and the people on the ground. I think I’ll leave this one to the experts.
