Stevie Wonder Superstition Music Video | Blind American Singer Is 60 Years Old

Posted: 13 May 2010 07:15 AM PDT

Stevie Wonder is 60 years old today. And what a full and fulfilling 60 years he’s had on this earth.

To celebrate, and we really should be celebrating possibly the greatest singer/songwriter of all time, here is Stevie Wonder singing Superstition, probably his most memorable song.

Stevie Wonder is a true phenomenon. Blind from birth, Wonder showed a propensity for music at a very young age. By the time he was 13 years old, Wonder had his first hit, but it wasn’t until the late 1960s/early 1970s that he truly hit his form.

Wonder has had more than 30 top ten hits in the U.S. and won 22 Grammy Awards, making him one of the most successful male solo singers of all time. And he’s still going.

Sarah Silverman on Banned TED Talk (Video) | Interview With Bill Maher Turns Serious

Posted: 12 May 2010 09:02 PM PDT

Of all mainstream comics on TV, Sarah Silverman has the right to be a little aggravated. First her speech at TED was shunned and never posted online by the site’s creator and, more recently, her show The Sarah Silverman Show was cancelled.

Here’s her interview she gave on ‘Real Time with Bill Maher’ last week. Not surprisingly, Sarah seems tad more serious than usual.

I’ve always been a fan of Sarah since her stand-up movie “Jesus Is Magic” was released. There just aren’t many women comics (even male comics for that matter) that have the guts to poke around at subjects like sexism and racism as brutally as she.

At the rate that it’s going, her TED talk will probably never see the light of day. Her book ‘The Bedwetter,’ on the other hand, is out right now and getting rave reviews.

Watch Awesome Google Wave Goodbye to 2009 Video | Multimedia Tribute

And who said there is nothing to do on Google Wave…

As much as I like to think that Google is an evil empire trying to take over the entire internet, I did quite enjoy this video.

It is always interesting to look back over a year to remember what has happened, the good and the bad. I am still shocked by how many well known celebrities died last year. It was a hard year for Hollywood.

I suppose the trick of the matter really is if anyone has figured out (besides Google staff) how to use Google Wave with such ease. I haven't even taken a look at the thing…
