The Tourist Trailer Video | Are Angelina Jolie And Johnny Depp A Match Made In Heaven? Posted: 16 Sep 2010 11:26 AM PDT The Tourist has one of the best on-screen pairings I’ve ever seen: Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp. Both of whom are first class actors and two of the best-looking people on the planet. A match made in Heaven?
While the actors may be perfect counterfoils to each other, the characters they portray in The Tourist aren’t. They get on, but their whole relationship is based on a lie, with Jolie pulling all the strings. Frank, played by Depp, is an ordinary tourist who meets and flirts with Elise, played by Jolie. The twist is that this was no chance encounter, with Elise planning it all along. The Tourist is due to be released on December 10, 2010, and I am definitely interested in seeing how things play out. Which means this trailer has done its job extremely well. |
Watch Funny 75 Costumes at Dragon Con with Chad Vader Video Posted: 15 Sep 2010 06:10 PM PDT Dragon Con is the land of many awesome costumes, and Chad Vader takes you through 75 of them. I think Chad Vader’s dream date has the funniest costume at the con – and the funniest one I have seen at any science fiction/related conference. Mind you, Bubba Fett comes in a close second. I have to give kudos to the dark elf, who I think had one of the longest prep times with getting all that black paint on. Though the other elf guy with the white body paint was a little too much into his character, I think… Have you ever dressed up in costume? |
Watch Official Trailer for Documentary Style Thriller Film ‘Catfish’ Video Posted: 15 Sep 2010 05:29 PM PDT Check out the official trailer of Catfish, a film that is getting a lot of mixed reviews around the net. Ugh. Another one of these movies that does everything in the world to convince you that it’s a documentary with a twist! This is like those fake memoirs. After falling for the Blair Witch crap as a kid, I am wary of films like these. However, from all the reviews, it’s still a movie you need to see. Focusing on themes surrounding the internet and how easy it is to manipulate information, this movie will take you for an unexpected ride. |
Mother Cat Adopts Baby Squirrel Video | Rodent Even Learns to Purr! Posted: 15 Sep 2010 04:08 PM PDT Here's a story guaranteed to melt your heart. In Mississippi a mother cat has adopted a tiny baby squirrel. But the tale doesn't stop there. It seems the squirrel, who’s been dubbed Rocky, has learned to purr when he’s petted, just like his kitten brothers and sisters. Only time will tell whether Rocky masters meowing, playing with balls of wool, or chasing mice like any good kitty would. But for now it seems he’s pretty happy in his new digs with his brand new mom. And that’s a happy ending in any language! |
Scary Theme Park Ride Freakout Video | Not-So-Tough Guy Cries For His Mummy Posted: 15 Sep 2010 02:25 PM PDT I’ve been on a few scary rides at these parks and carnivals in my time. And I’ve wanted to get off a couple of them mid-ride. However, what I haven’t done is started crying for my mummy. Unlike the not-so-tough (though he tries to act all hard before the ride begins) guy in this video.
I actually thought it was going to be the other guy, the one on the right, that screamed out for his mummy to come and save him. But no, it was his friend, the one who is now regarded as a total wimp in his social circle. I guess it’s not a bad thing to cry out for someone dear to you when you’re scared. I’ve certainly needed a hug from to time in my life. But the fact it was filmed and the video was uploaded to the Web is where it gets a little (or a lot, in fact) embarrassing. |
