Steve Carell Does GMTV Weather Video | Anchorman’s Brick Tamland Comes Back

Posted: 02 Apr 2010 09:27 AM PDT

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy is one of my favorite comedy movies of all time. It’s one I can watch over and over again without ever getting bored.

My favorite character in Anchorman is Steve Carell’s Brick Tamland, the weatherman who is, well, not quite all there in the head department.

This video shows Carell reprising the Brick role to read the GMTV weather. He appeared on the British breakfast news show to promote his new film, date Night. But he also obligingly gave the weather forecast for the U.K. and Europe.

Carell suggested Europe was the U.S., and suggested that Easter in the British Isles would be a rainy occasion. Which is true, so maybe Brick isn’t quite so stupid as we all thought.

Clash Of The Titans Movie Review Video | How The 3D CGI Remake Measures Up

Posted: 02 Apr 2010 05:22 AM PDT

The Clash Of The Titans movie is released today. Starring Sam Worthington, last seen by absolutely everyone in Avatar, it’s a remake of Ray Harryhausen’s 1981 original, just with added CGI and 3D effects.

However, while a lot of people are eager to see this film, those reviewers who have done aren’t exactly gushing over it. Although this video reviewer is more impressed than most others.

The problems being pinpointed by movie reviewers are: a terrible script, an over-reliance on CGI, crappy 3D that was hurriedly added, and a plot which completely fails to grab you by the balls.

The Clash Of The Titans trailer looks great, but as is so often the case, movie trailers, especially for the big-budget blockbusters, can be misleading. I’d read a few reviews before wasting part of your Easter seeing this movie.

Watch Funny Simpsons 20th Anniversary Documentary Special (Video) | Greatest Cartoon Ever?

Sit down with the voice actors as well as many celebrities as they all talk about the amazing phenomenon that is The Simpsons.

I absolutely love getting to know the voice actors behind my favorite animations, and The Simpsons is no exception.

I always shake my head in amazement when I am reminded of just how few people voice so many characters! I remember being shocked when I found out Bart is voiced by a woman.

The images we form in our minds, eh?

The Simpsons has always been a favorite show of mine that crossed lines and had no respect for political correctness. I hope it goes forever.

Watch ‘True Blood’ Stars Anna Paquin & Stephen Moyer Talk About Show (Video)

Posted: 01 Apr 2010 04:37 PM PDT

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer sit down briefly to talk about their characters on the show all about vampires: True Blood.

Of course, as is the way with celebrities, the most recent news about Anna Paquin is not about vampires or the show – it’s about her sexuality.

The media is buzzing with Paquin’s recent revelation that she is not straight but classes herself as bisexual. What her co-star thinks of the statement remains to be seen (or heard).

Is this a good April Fools Day joke or is it real? I guess we’ll just have to wait and find out.

ShamWow Guy Vince Spruiks Slap Chop Infomercial Advertisement Video

Posted: 01 Apr 2010 02:33 PM PDT

We all know Vince as the ShamWow guy, but where do you go after spruiking such a big seller? You turn your attention to what may or may not be the next big thing: the Slap Chop.

The Slap Chop isn’t too different from most vegetable choppers we’ve seen, but there are a few little differences.
Firstly the Slap Chop opens so it can be easily cleaned. It’s also got more potential for awkward sexual innuendo!

Here Vince assures us that we'll love his nuts as he ekes out this ad, showing us every combination of chopped food imaginable.

It’s easy to poke fun at, but it’s also strangely compelling!

Fanboy Funhouse: Web Series For Geeks | Movies, Comics, Gaming, & More

Posted: 01 Apr 2010 02:25 PM PDT

CraveOnline’s new web series Fanboy Funhouse is sure to satisfy the inner-geek in all of us. Every two-weeks the show focuses on the latest in movies, comics, gaming, and gadgets.

Oh, and did I mention there’s a crazy puppets involved?

With puppets and characters like Nar, Dugnot, Saug, and Lobie, Fanboy Funhouse reminds me a lot of kid’s shows when I was younger. Except, of course, the show is marketed to techies in their 20’s.

The parody shorts are pretty funny to watch, however, my only complaint is that the show doesn’t seem to have much official content (eg. a clip from a movie or in-gameplay). Hopefully the future episodes will live up to expectations.

Episode 1

In this first episode the cast explores the possibilty of being a Na’vi from the blockbuster Avatar in everyday life.
