John Travolta’s Dogs Killed At Airport Video | Truck Driver Runs Dogs Over During Walk

Posted: 18 May 2010 07:42 AM PDT

John Travolta’s dogs have reportedly been killed in an accident at Bangor International Airport in Maine. His son Jett died last year, and now his dogs have gone too. Enough already!

Travolta had apparently flown into the airport and was having his aircraft serviced when he asked an employee to walk his two dogs. During the walk, a pickup truck ran over the two dogs, killing them outright.

This video is a little harsh, being one guy’s assessment of the news. He basically doesn’t think the fact John Travolta’s dogs dying is worthy of an article, but it’s not like they died peacefully of old age, so I’d disagree.

Will Travolta sue the airport, the walker, or the driver of the truck? Without being rude, maybe he should walk any dogs he adopts in the future himself.

“Walk On The Wild Side” Preview Video | BBC TV Show Makes Animals Talk

Posted: 18 May 2010 01:20 AM PDT

Last year we saw the BBC give animals a voice through its nature comedy program Walk on the Wild Side. Now the show is back with a brand new season, and a preview video to match.

This clip shows just enough of the show to tickle our funny bones without giving too much away. I love the stubborn feuding birds and the beat-boxing chipmunk. I’ll bet you thought he was simply enjoying some tucker, right?

As an animal lover, this video is right up my alley. It makes me wonder, if the world’s critters really could talk, is this what they’d say? I hope so!

Everybody Draw Mohammed Day May 20th (Video) | South Park Strikes Back

Posted: 17 May 2010 08:20 PM PDT

No one really knows the true origin of this cyber-protest, but it definitely has something to do with the the recent censorship of South Park.

At first, I was pretty skeptical that “Everybody Draw Mohammed Day” would catch on. However, there’s already a number of Facebook groups popping up with hundreds of pictures being uploaded everyday.

When it really comes down to it, I’m not so sure that Comedy Central censored the Islam-bashing scene purely for safety purposes. After all, the network is known for airing uncensored movies and shows after midnight all the time.

Still, this fan-made video takes the stance that it’s a protest promoting “freedom of speech.” Either way, it’s a pretty original way at getting back at the terrorists that made those death threats.

Adorable Orphaned Baby Sloths Thrive in Costa Rica Sanctuary Video

Posted: 17 May 2010 05:15 PM PDT

Meet the adorable inhabitants of the Aviaros del Caribe sloth sanctuary in Costa Rica, the only sloth orphanage in the world.

The South American sanctuary becomes a new home for baby two and three-toed sloths. Their mothers might have been zapped by power lines or hit by cars, but now these bundles of slothdom are living large.

Sanctuary owner Judy Arroyo steps in as a substitute mother figure, providing them with plenty of yummy vegetables and cuddly soft toys.

Quite simply this video is adorable. Those buggy eyes, the slow nomming, and the furry forms are overwhelmingly cute. If sloth is indeed a deadly sin consider me damned!

World Rally Championship Crash Video | Mark Tapper Crashes Thanks To A Guy Mooning

Posted: 17 May 2010 12:47 PM PDT

Rallying is an exciting sport to watch, especially the top-level World Rally Championship. The speeds reached and the driving skills on display over difficult terrain are a sight to see.

But it isn’t as though the drivers don’t also get to see some interesting stuff. Like a guy mooning from the side of the road.

Driving a rally car at speed must be ultra-difficult, requiring intense concentration at all time to prevent nasty crashes. Unfortunately, someone flashing his arse at you from the bushes has got to be a distraction.

This video shows Mark Tapper crashing out of Rally New Zealand after some Kiwi tosspot decides to air his brown eye. The best bit is Tapper telling his co-driver what happened – he’s not too happy.
