Memphis Beat Promo Video | TNT Comedy Drama Starring Jason Lee As Detective

Posted: 23 Jun 2010 06:11 AM PDT

Memphis Beat is a new show which had its premiere on TNT last night (June 22). Memphis Beat is a comedy drama which sees Jason Lee play a police detective in Memphis, hence the name of the show.

Jason Lee is best known for My Name Is Earl, but he has also starred in Alvin and The Chipmunks, and several Kevin Smith films. This role seems perfectly suited to him, however.

What’s good about Memphis Beat is it’s not your typical fast-paced cop thriller show. Instead, the story takes its time to unfold, with the characters fleshed out fully, and the whole thing cemented by the setting.

Memphis Beat seems to be receiving mixed reviews, with some loving its quirkiness and others suggesting it has no soul. Watch next week’s episode and make your own mind up. What’s to lose?

Watch Man Sends Christmas Card Oral Sex Pics of Ex to Her Family News Video

David Simmons faces jail time after he sent Christmas cards containing a picture of his ex-girlfriend performing oral sex to her entire family.

Now that is one twisted and powerful act of revenge.

This is just one more reason that you should never film or photograph yourself in compromising situations or let anyone else do so. Though she says she wasn’t aware a photo was taken.

I find it amusing how he claims that he knows nothing about it and received a card just like everyone else.

Why, when he’s an ex and certainly not family, would he have received a card?

Poor defense, and not a defense that is going to stand up in court.

Watch James Blake Lose Cool and Curse ESPN Analyst Pam Shriver Video

Some people just don’t know when to be quiet, as Pam Shriver clearly demonstrates when she doesn’t keep her mouth shut and let James Blake concentrate.

What you didn’t hear on this video is James making the comment: “You have to be an ass about it, too? . . . And act like I’m at fault.”

That came after Shriver saying that Blake must have rabbit ears.

Honestly, I’m not that big of a tennis fan, but I hope she is reprimanded for what she did. Those guys are trying to concentrate out there, and it is very easy to hear pretty much anything there.

Comic Dan Telfer Does Dinosaur Stand-Up Routine Video (NSFW)

In this recent footage from the Chicago Underground Comedy Club, stand-up comic Dan Telfer sounds off about the world’s best dinosaur.

While he doesn’t exactly reveal which ancient reptile deserves the title, he’s pretty sure that any beasts the audience members name doesn’t cut the mustard. Even perennial favorites T-Rex and Stegosaurus dont impress Dan, and he doesn’t mince words when telling you why.

The sound quality isn’t the best, but if you enjoy geek humor it's worth persevering with it. At least, that is, if your ears aren’t too delicate. Dan Telfer lets a few choice words fly, so make sure you send the kids out of the room before you watch this one.

Puppy Babysitter Video | Fun, But Is It Safe?

Posted: 22 Jun 2010 02:15 PM PDT

I’m much more a cat lover than I am a dog lover. I just prefer cats’ natures and they way they approach life. However, some dogs are brilliant, being friendly and playful, and bringing joy to to a household.

This dog is a perfect example, and it’s really enjoying babysitting the youngest member of the household. My only worry is whether it’s entirely safe, as all dogs carry the risk of turning into a snarling, vicious beast. Or am I biased?

I have no doubts that this dog is a lovable little rogue, and it seems to have a really nice relationship with the child. The child clearly loves the game he’s playing with the family pet.

At one point, though, the dog comes right up in the kid’s face and licks it. What if it had decided to bite? Dogs can, after all, get very jealous when a new member of the household arrives.
