| RETRO: KIMMER: *NEW* MOTOR CITY ROCKERS VIDEOS! Posted: 22 Mar 2011 05:40 AM PDT  The Motor City Rockers formed after the band Motor City Bad Boys disbanded. The line up consisted of former MCBB members Rikki St James (V/B), Glenn Dean (G) Phil "Greasy" Carlisi (G), and special guest Wayne Kramer of the MC5 (G), Dom (Dee Dee) Lamarra (D, Mick Stevens (D), and Aldo T Cella (B) Not all members play on both songs.  RSJ photo: Retro: Kimmer This past weekend Rikki St James (RSJ) and I created 2 new slide show videos featuring The Motor City Rockers. The first song we used for the first video was "Jag of Hearts". Music and Lyrics by RSJ.  Angelina Jolie We searched for the perfect girl that looked " like some kind of a movie star". The photo above matched perfectly... Timing photos to match the lyric was challenging for me. Just recently I created a tribute video for Stanley T. Madhatter and that was my first video where I laid an audio track over images.  Gangster Records Logo by Gary Grimshaw Using Windows Movie Maker with Vista (my computer) was totally different than using the new Windows 7 Movie Maker. I like the newer Movie Maker better.  RSJ with his Jaguar XKE and Black Corvette Took us a really long time to organize the photos for this video. We wanted to display the original band and a bit of descriptive images too to match the lyric. Plus I am such a newbie with making these type of video. "Lizzie's Theme" Music and Lyrics RSJ and Phil Carlisi  Monica Bellucci The "Lizzie's Theme" video was a lot of fun to make. We got really lucky searching for a model to represent "Lizzie". Monica Bellucci was the perfect choice. Monica is gorgeous of course but had such a wide emotional range facially and she had so many great shots in different moods and looks and her costuming was perfect too. Monica can appear so angelic then switch to playful, then a bit of a wild party girl too. Perfect for the "Lizzie's Theme" song lyric. "Lizzie" has to choose between her rocker man or a preppie guy with a really hot car. Lizzie chose the preppie guy....  |
