RETRO KIMMER: AL KING DRUMMING IN ANN ARBOR Posted: 06 May 2011 09:55 PM PDT Lesley and I went out tonight to Good Night Gracies to see our favorite young hard hitting drummer Al King play with The Terraplanes. What a show! The audience was on fire as was Kimmer. Al King It was really fun to be in a new venue. It was nice to meet some facebook pals and meet new friends as well. It was just great to be out and about in Ann Arbor... Al King and Kimmer Haven't seen Al in awhile so it was great to see him again. I met Al on Myspace a few years ago. I knew Al's dad Jim King from way back land... Al Kalaf on bass Al Kalaf was a gas! What a fun bass player... cool Peavey Bass! Lesley Maki My artist daughter worked this gig with me. Thanks LES! She is so talented with cameras... Guitarist Rick Humesky and Kimmer photo by Lesley Maki It was great to meet a facebook friend and retrokimmer fan at this gig! Rick Humesky is a mighty fine guitar player and we loved his Strat Starburst. Rick Humesky and Kimmer It is so much fun to meet Rk fans that are musicians. Makes us double fans now doesn't it?
