Whether you buy it for your little ones or for yourself, PLOC magazine is certainly worth getting your hands on.

On the face of it, PLOC is a magazine aimed at children between the ages of three and eight, but look closely and you might notice those distinctive graphics. That's down to the illustration by legendary 60s artist Alain Gree, which makes it worthy of an adult's attention too.

The content walks a fine line between educating and having fun, with stories (How is bread made? What animals live at the farm? Learning to count with happy birds on a wire), colouring pages, spot the difference games, mazes and activities. You can grab a copy via Anorak, £7 is the price. See an inside shot over the page.

All made of oak, you get the table with that slanted legs and lacquered finish, plus the chairs, with the same finish, but with curved backs and slightly angled seats.

The entire set is yours for £825. You can also buy the table and chairs separately.

Adidas Women's Gazelle Casual trainers

Gaz

Just occasionally, Adidas does offer some of its classic styles specifically for women as well as men, the latest of which are these Adidas Women's Gazelle Casual trainers.

Essentially, this is a faithful reproduction of the classic 1968 Gazelle, complete with suede upper in a light brown, white contrast detailing and stripes plus 'blown rubber' outsole.

That purple spotted inner is almost certainly down to personal taste we suspect, a strange addition, but one you might like. If it's for you, a pair of these can be secured from Adidas directly for £70 right now.

Go into your average Sainsburys store today and the store / packaging is as dull las any other supermarket. Not so in the 1960s, when the Sainsburys Design Studio was at its height, an era celebrated by the Own Label: Sainsburys Design Studio 1962 - 1977 book by Jonny Trunk.

Published by fuel, it celebrates the era from 1962, when Peter Dixon joined the Sainsburys Design Studio, kick-starting a revolution in product design for its Own Label products. Simple, stylish, modernist design, nothing like anything that had come before - designs that helped to build Sainsburys into a brand giant.

Produced in collaboration with the Sainsbury family and The Sainsbury Archive, the book showcases that impressive body of work for lovers of graphic design, as well as offering a unique insight into what and how we ate. Some of those images pictured below, or check out the product page for many more. Available for pre-order now, you can secure one for £11.87.
