Adidas Gazelle II trainers reissued in blue and white Posted: 15 Sep 2011 10:42 AM PDT I know not everyone loves the second-generation shape, but for those of you that do, the Adidas Gazelle II trainers have been reissued in an eye-catching blue and white. The upper, as you've probably guessed, is suede, with the white detailing in leather, things finished off with a gum sole unit, the zig zag detailing on those leather stripes and the white tongue. £59 is the asking price. eBay watch: 1960s Triumph Herald 1200 convertible Posted: 15 Sep 2011 07:00 AM PDT Great time to buy a convertible car right now, summer has just gone and there's not a lot of demand. Which could mean this 1960s Triumph Herald 1200 convertible is a potential bargain, especially with no reserve. The Triumph Herald has always been the affordable classic, a stylish number once common on Britain's roads. Not as much now, but still a head-turner. This one looks a decent option. Dating back to 1968, it has 93,800 on the clock, which isn't bad for the years. On top of that, the current owner has looked after it, with plenty of upgrades - a new high output altenator fitted, electronic ignition, replacement single weber carbs, rear shockers, K&N air filter, chrome rocker cover, new discs and calipers on the front, pads all round, battery, fuel gauge…the list goes on. But if you fancy a piece of modern-meets-Victoriana, it could be just the job - at a price. It's a hefty thing, no mistake, weighing in at 4.3kg, the horn handcrafted in brass, with a nickel or gold-powdered finish, sat on a machined block of aluminium. As for the audio, well, just like an original gramophone, the sound is generated  from resonance created within the horn. The power supply is purely to charge your smartphone. The downside? Bus Route Poster Posted: 15 Sep 2011 02:45 AM PDT   This simple, but smart Bus Route Poster is an original print from the 1960s. The design consists of two bright red buses (one double-decker, one single desk bus) against a background blue lines framing the poster. There is a blank white centre where the travel details would have been written. These posters are unused, so don't have anything in the centre – you could perhaps write something in there yourself, although I think they look good as they are. Firehouse Seats Posted: 15 Sep 2011 02:35 AM PDT       It's a pity that Pedlars has only recently added these Firehouse Seats to its growing vintage collection as they would have been ideal for the garden in summer. The double folding seats were purchased from a Fire House in update New York and date back to either the 1930s or 1940s. They have only been able to buy thirty of them, so if you want one, you should probably get in soon. The seats cost £395 from Pedlars.
