I think there was a similar reissue earlier in the year, but if you missed that, the Adidas Gazelle OG trainers are back in black once more.

It's a limited edition reissue of the original 1960s silhouette in a black suede, with white zig zag leather stripes, smaller tongue and a gum sole unit.

Watson

Not sure it's his most pleasant subject matter for an artwork, but the latest print from Shag, going by the name Watson and the Shark, will almost certainly sell out quickly.

This print of some '60s hipsters with a rather dark undercurrent is an 18-colour serigraph, sized at 22 x 24.5 inches and in a signed and numbered edition of 150.

If you want it for your wall, $275 is the price.

eBay watch: 1970s Cosack mushroom-style table lamp

Posted: 16 Sep 2011 10:49 AM PDT

Cosack

To be honest, the name of the maker isn't know to me, but I love the 70s style of this Cosack mushroom-style table lamp.

I don't think it was ever high end (but I am happy to be corrected), with the shade made of a chocolate brown plastic rather than glass, with a white inner lining to maximise the reflection. The lampshade sits on top of a large metallic cylinder, while the heavy base is made of cast iron, with a dark bronze finish. The original black plastic switch is on the cord, with the original Cosack label still present underneath the base.

The lamp is described as being 'in very good vintage condition' and 'in full working order'. There are a few age related marks and scratches but these do not interfere in any way with the overall look of the lamp. Want it? Bidding right now is at £0.99.

Tea dress Get your wardrobe ready for autumn with this tweed tea dress.

Everyone loves tweed. It's practical and will keep you warm on an autumnal night but it also looks pretty fantastic on all shapes and sizes. This looks a bit like a 1940s-style tea dress but New Look have bought the dress into 2011 with the tweed addition.

The colours are ideal for the season and this would look ideal with some patterned tights and black boots. If you want one it's £34.99 from New Look.

Moshi Moshi iPhone handset from Conran Shop

Posted: 16 Sep 2011 06:49 AM PDT

Moshi
Remember a couple of weeks ago we featured this and said it was just about the closest thing you could get to carrying around an old fashioned phone? Well, forget that. This is.

French designer David Turpin has used the classic bakelite phone as inspiration for this Moshi Moshi iPhone handset. The softouch handset, complete with the obligatory curled wire, not only looks the part but utilises some great iPhone features. It uses a high quality speaker and microphone which, with the appropriate USB adaptor, can be used with Skype or other VOIP software. A pretty retro accessory with some serious tech credentials behind it.

The Moshi Moshi iPhone handset is available in 5 colours and will set you back £24.99 from Conran ShopSee the website for more details.

Taxi Driver Movie Classic Poster from Monster Gallery

Posted: 16 Sep 2011 05:42 AM PDT

Taxi driver

It would seem at the moment a week can't go by without encountering new reworkings of classic movie posters, but we just couldn't let this Taxi Driver print from Monster Gallery pass by unnoticed.

Done in the style of the famous Penguin Vintage Classics we all know and love, this little 6x6 is a fitting tribute to the 70s flick. The simple, clean graphics are given a vintage weathered effect to create the look. If Scorsese's work doesn't tickle your fancy, other retro titles in the range include Blade Runner and, bizarrely, Home Alone. There is also a range of classic book titles available in the same style.

This nifty little piece, signed & numbered, will set you back a mere $7.50 from the Monster Gallery Etsy store.

Pandul Opala table light by Hans Wegner

Posted: 16 Sep 2011 05:23 AM PDT

Wegner

It might look like a modernist design at first glance, but the Pandul Opala table light by Hans Wegner is actually a 1970s design.

But one thing is for sure, this is timeless style for your home, which is just as well, as the lamp doesn't come cheap. The lamp was originally designed by Hans Wegner for Hotel Scandinavia in Copenhagen, its futuristic design as distinctive then as it is now.

Take your pick from a black or white finish, with the shade made of an impact resistant, opal high gloss acrylic, the top in 'wet painted' aluminium, the stand in high gloss chrome and the base in that same wet painted solid steel.

£659 is the asking price.

House Industries for Herman Miller limited edition Eames wire-based tables

Posted: 16 Sep 2011 03:59 AM PDT

House1

We have a general rule on Retro To Go that we try to feature items you can go out and buy. Sadly, these House Industries for Herman Miller limited edition Eames wire-based tables are only available to a select few of you. Although we are hoping for a wider release.

But one thing isn't in question - these are absolutely stunning.

House Industries has teamed up with Herman Miller to produce a limited edition series of 80 Eames wire-base tables (aka an LTR or Low Table Rod). Not just that, they will feature A thru Z, numbers and ornaments from the Eames Century Modern font collection from House.

House2

Each tabletop is hand-printed by House's David Dodde in their Michigan factory, returned to Herman Miller for assembly then packaged in a special House Industries-designed wooden crate.

Here's the downside. 40 tables will be available in Hong Kong at the Herman Miller Reach event on September 16, 2011 and 40 will be available at the House Industries exhibition at the Herman Miller Tokyo Showroom on October 27, 2011. So if you are in the far east, you know where to go. For the rest of us…well, we'll have to wait and see if the company produce more.

No mention of price, but as we're talking an Eames official reproduction, you'll probably want to take your credit card.

Ball

The original is something we have featured in the past, In fact, it's one of our favourite midcentury interior pieces. But now there's a new edition of the clock to tempt you in - the Vitra Ball Wall Clock Special Edition by George Nelson.

It's available now, but not forever. In fact, the Vitra Ball Wall Clock Special Edition is only available until February 2012. The price is £195.
