The 2012 Summer action flick the Avengers is filming in New York City after having wrapped up an explosive action sequence in Cleveland. On location cameras have caught what looks to be a downed Quinjet (the Avengers' customized jet vehicle) and a trio of heroes running into action from the wreckage.

The images shows the first clear glimpse of the costume worn by Jeremy Renner (Hurt Locker) as Hawkeye and the personalized jumpsuit Scarlett Johansson has donned as the Black Widow. Chris Evans' revamped and modernized Captain America uniform still looks awkward and bulky to me, but maybe my opinion will change when I see it in action.
