Awesome V For Vendetta Ending Video | Remember, Remember The Fifth Of November

Posted: 05 Nov 2010 10:28 AM PDT

It’s Nov. 5, Bonfire Night, the day we remember Guy Fawkes’ attempt to blow up the British Houses of Parliament. And if you’re staying in then do yourself a favor and watch V For Vendetta.

V For Vendetta is one of my favorite films of all time, and is much underrated. This video shows the final few scenes, so if you haven’t yet seen the movie don’t click Play.

For those who have, you’ll know that the whole film revolves around a corrupt and despotic government of the future that needs to be taken down a peg or two. And V is just the man to do the job. Or at least inspire others to do it for him.

If you’re going out to a fireworks display and they play this music as accompaniment, then you’ll know where they got they’re inspiration from. You can’t, however, determine from that whether they’re revolutionaries. But they could be.

Watch Funny Thriller Halloween 2010 Light Show Video | ‘Haunted’ House Sings Michael Jackson

Posted: 04 Nov 2010 06:43 PM PDT

A true patron of Halloween has set up an awesome light show in honor of the holiday as well as the late Michael Jackson.

And who said light shows were only for Christmas? Though a little bit strange, perhaps, this light show had me laughing. Especially with not one but four singing jack o’ lantern heads doing the song.

I did find myself wondering how they got the music to be clear for the video, but they must have layered it over the video, as I didn’t hear the car go by.

I wonder if this house will have a Christmas show as well or if they’ll be spending the holiday season paying off their electricity bill.

Watch Partridge Family Star David Cassidy Arrested on DUI Charges Celebrity News Video

A very apologetic former Partridge Family star David Cassidy posted bail and was released on Thursday after nearly causing a car accident and being charged with a DUI.

With a half empty bottle of bourbon under the car seat and admitting that he took a Vicodin three hours earlier, could this be a big call for help from the celebrity?

One has to wonder where things will go from here. Will this incident be brushed under the rug or is there more to come from Cassidy?

According to Cassidy’s publicist, Jo-Ann Geffen, “David would…like to assure everyone that he is all right and thank his family, friends and fans for their love and support.”

Comfortable Landing Fail Video | He Missed!

I find the best thing to do when jumping onto a giant mat is to actually land on it. This kid clearly disagrees.

I’m constantly amazed by people’s ability to harm themselves in the pursuit of fun. Or possibly showing off. Or a combination of the two. Still, someone always ends up coming a cropper.

Having seen one of his friends jump off the building and on to the crash mat, this kid decides to improvise, because copying his mate’s simple style just won’t do. So instead he does a cartwheel over the edge.

As anyone watching can see as soon as he begins, he veers off course and ends up missing the mat completely. And you can’t tell me that landing won’t have been very painful.

Still, he has no one else to blame but himself. The idiot.

R.I.P James Freud “Out Of Mind, Out of Sight” Video | Australian Singer for The Models Commits Suicide

Posted: 04 Nov 2010 01:46 PM PDT

The Australian music industry is reeling after the shock death of The Models’ front man, James Freud. Following a long battle with alcoholism, Freud committed suicide in his Melbourne home. He was just 51 years old.

This video for the band's biggest hit “Out of Mind, Out of Sight” reminds us of the band in happier times. In 1985 the song reached number 1 on the Australian charts, number 3 in New Zealand, and number 22 in the United States.

It’s always sad to lose a talented musician like James, and even more tragic when it’s at his own hands. He will be missed.
